3. Jake the hot alpha, Her saviour

Silence swallowed the mirth within the crowded hall. Every second person stilled as their gaze undividedly glanced in the direction of table no. 5.
Aria was not courageous enough to face them or fight them, so she did what she could do best in order to avoid their looks! That is- covering her irises by the layer of her eyelids and awaited what was coming to her as it seemed inevitable.
Great! She was going to lose her first kiss to a bully and an undeserving filthy by nature guy.
“Stay right where you are with your bloody hands, neil!”
Suddenly, her body turned white and she clenched her eyelids tighter.
You call it her good luck or good day, but the unwanted kiss did not come to her because of the hoarse voice that rung over her shoulder while a muscular, powerful yet bewitching cologne of smoky wood hit her nostrils, fluttering her heart and churning her stomach.
‘Jake!!!’ Aria whispered his name whilst sensing his strong arm brush with her skinny one and sent a current of nervousness throughout her body.
His facial features were deep and perfect, like a fine work of art. He was so handsome that her eyes never looked away from his face, but there was one thing that made him look cruel— it was his fearful personality that gave people a sense of oppression.
His dark blue eyes sent a frozen chill of uneasiness crawl through Neil and his friends' body. They belonged to the upper wolf class but who would dare to mess with their king? Not them. He was above all, not just in status but also in powers.
“Jake?” Neil moved backwards, he was amazed by his occurrence.
“Yes me,” She heard him say as he stood next to her with his head raised high and eyes radiating with unsaid warning.
He looked over at his shoulder at Aria's face and said, “Go and continue your work.” she firmly nodded her head up and down, feeling thankful since he saved her from not only getting physically abused but also from getting expelled from her job.
She so wished to part her mouth and verbally express what she actually felt for him, but her stupid body was way too shocked to react anything. Hence, Aria just turned around and started walking.
“Hey listen,” barely she had covered a distance of a few centimeters that his voice called her.
His voice caught her heart aghast. It started palpitating at an abnormal rate which did not go unnoticed by him. Aria felt him walk behind her back and stop just a few steps away that she could feel his warmth tickling my skin. “I want to apologize to you on their behalf! Look what they have done to you, huh… you are trembling!”
It was after he mentioned that Aria realized she was indeed shivering. Oh no it was not because of the bully classmates of her but because of him, Jake Ragnar, the alpha's son and the alpha-to-be of their pack.
“Th-at is completely okay. But…they didn’t do anything. It is just that I am too shy to face people.” Shea lied since she didn’t want to mess with Neil and his friends.
Jake could only save her once from them, not always. And these guys were so bad that they any ways could find a way out to bother her which Aria could not risk to happen.
"Ugh, you can't even lie properly and you don't even have to. I have seen and heard everything!" She matched her gaze with the floor for being caught.
First ever close encounter with Jake Ragnar and she already lied to him. What he must be thinking of her now? Aria stood there with her back still facing at him. She didn't have any courage to face him. Why? Obviously because 'She had a huge crush on him!' He was the thief who stole her heart.
Not just her heart but of the other girls in their school. From the first to the last year, every girls'. Aria was a first year student and Jake the second year's. It was in the freshers party that they first met. He was sweet to talk with. No, she didn't talk to him as she didn't get any chance to. She had just seen glimpses of him talking with his friends with a warm smile. He was different unlike other alpha kids that were arrogant and vile. That only used girls and lived their physical lives to its full.
However, she was just like any other normal girl in the pack because she had exactly the same feelings as other females have towards the alpha make. And like any typical Alpha, he was not bothered about their feelings. He had a girlfriend instead. A beautiful hot fighter she-wolf who complimented his title, Veronica, the daughter of the wolves ministry and Alpha Ragnar's friend. There were a hundred percent chances for them to be mates. But only if Jake wanted! He was a moon born after all.
A moon born wolf who relished the liberty of choosing his own mate. Unlike other wolves who had destined mates already written in their destiny even before they were born. And looking at the way Veronica and Jake lived together, there were high chances for him to choose her as his Luna as she had not found her mate either.
Never mind, Aria could not move. She waited for him to set her free from the invisible boundary of powers he drew around her. It was as if her movements depended on his commands like how it typically happens for typical omegas.
But he was indescribably different! Because what he did next shocked her to the very core.
Jake put his hand on her shoulder and made her turn around. His smile on his glowing handsome face came to her view and she saw him assuring her, "You don't have to be scared of anyone. Not when I am your alpha to be. And as far as these dumbfucks are concerned, then I will make sure they don't mess with you ever again." he cast a glance toward the Bully guys over the table and they one by one apologized.
"I am sorry, Aria. I didn't mean to frighten you." Dilane said.
"It was a joke. We would never do it to you."
"We are sorry as well." They apologized suddenly, taking her by surprise.
Well this was his aura after all.
"Th-that's ok-okay..." She hesitantly mouthed, not sure if they did it out of regret or Jake's fear.
Nevertheless, the expressions on their faces indicated both.
"Alright then, I assume you will keep your apology in mind and never mess with her." Jake said before letting her go away.
'Huhhh, why do I get so nervous around him all the time!' Having come back to the counter Aria wondered as at the same time her co-workers eyed her enviously.
She wasn't pretty enough to get helped by the alpha, was she?
