0. The beginning

12th January 2020, 5.00 am,  "You found anything, Max?" A deep voice echoed in a silent atmosphere. It was a man walking through the long bushes. He was six feet tall, broad and strong, and everything about him screamed of his power. His dark black eyes measured the bushy area around him as he held a wooden dagger in his gloved hands. His black crisp shirt was slopped by the hem while some dirt blanketed his fair stubbled jaw.  "Nothing, Killian! I see nothing here." Another voice replied, with equal deep huskiness as the first one. He was as tall as the first man, dressed in dusty dark jeans and a dirty shirt. He had a wooden dagger in his hand too that he clasped tightly in his grip as his gaze scanned the region further.  Had it not been for the shocking message that Alpha Killian received, they would have been sleeping in their respective beds now.  In the middle of the night, someone threw a stone inside his room from the window, basically wrapped with a parchment that had the message drafted,  'Lives for lives. Blood for blood.  Pack for a Pack.  And revenge for a revenge.  Remember me, Ragnar? I am your old friend, Derwin Blaize.  If not then let me remind you who I am. I am the alpha of the Pack you ambushed five years back, and erased its existence from the world map. I suppose, that's enough for you to recollect it.  What do you think, you will destroy my entire pack and I will just let it slip away like that without any revenge?  I won't do anything?  I won't revenge my twin sons you slaughtered? My beautiful daughter your soldiers raped?  I remember everything, Ragnar. EVERYTHING. I never forgot it. I was busy planning your and your pack's death, which is now done. Henceforth, starting with a small sacrifice, I'd begin 'the game of blood' in your pack. Yes Ragnar, I am here, on your land, within your pack— all set to execute one of your important pack members— who's going to die in sometime from now. A severe, slow and shaky death. It'll be my first step toward revenge.  Come, stop me if you can. You will find me where no one would ever dare to visit.  ~Derwin Blaize' The paper crushed under the grip of his palm as Alpha Killian Ragnar balled his fist. His peace was shaken. He had never known that something like this would happen to him and that his life would drastically turn upside down.  Just a single message and everything changed!!!  The night that was supposed to bring him a peaceful slumber suddenly turned into a pain that bothered his ass. From the moment of acquiring the letter to now, at 5.00 am in the early morning, he have been struggling to find Derwin but to no avail.  "Huhh, damn it! There has to be something... Check thoroughly buddy, I am sure he'd be here somewhere hiding. He would never lie." He said, moving further.  "Could it... I am just assuming, could it be someone's prank?" The other man named Max spoke. There was hesitation knitted along his words.  "Prank? You think someone would make a prank like this. LIKE THIS!" Alpha Killian Ragnar lifted the ball of paper in the air as though he was showing it to his Beta Male aka Max, who was metres away from him. "You tell me who would dare to prank an alpha?"  "I am just saying," Max replied before Killian's anger increased any level further.  "It's no prank, Beta Max because nobody exactly knows what happened five years ago except for some selective members in the pack. So it's obvious it's Derwin himself." He confidently mouthed. "Just continue hunting!" With a defeatedly urgent heave, Alpha Ragnar glanced around in the 'Aiden hoc forest', the forest of the dead. It got its name because of the centuries old fight which happened here! A fight between various creatures including Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Gorgons, Zombies and what not. A fight for acquiring the land that was, at the end, won by the wolves— exactly, by the Ragnar ancestors.  Thousands of them lost their lives here, which is why it got its name as— The forest of the dead. Aiden Hoc was named later in the previously gone century.  And the main reason why the enemy Alpha Derwin mysteriously aforementioned this place was because it was also a port to other dimensions. Dimension that no longer existed for a sober living! This was so very disliked place that no one dared to stumble here even in their nightmares.  Anyways, Alpha Ragnar made his way further. Even if they couldn't find any sign of him, he was sure that they might find something important. Therefore, with the same thought in mind he resumed walking ahead while his Beta Male, Max covered the region in the opposite direction.  Not even have they passed over a distance of few miles, a loud husky announcement resonated in the air, making Alpha Ragnar go stiff in fear, "DAD, OVER HERE, TOWARDS THE SOUTH.... NOW!!!!" his eyes widened and throat dried while he only prayed for one thing.  'Jake!!! Oh moon goddess, should it not be my son. Please, should it not be him, Jake, my prince.' Tbc... (Andddd...
