prologue
I recollect the era when humans resided harmoniously alongside our kind. The numerous conflicts we encountered, my companion, consistently led people to regard me as an unfamiliar entity within this realm.
Our identities have faded into obscurity, rendering us mere apparitions of the bygone era, you and I. However, the time has come to embark upon a fresh chapter, to allow new individuals to establish their presence and attribute recognition to their names.
I still vividly recall that fateful, somber night when you departed from our midst. Yet, on that very occasion, a child came into existence, instilling fear within its mother.
She was assaulted by individuals of her own species; I observed the entirety of the situation unfold as I took action, engaging in battles against numerous adversaries. I accompanied them, utilizing my abilities to propel our movement, ultimately creating a portal through which we departed to the realm inhabited by humans.
For a span of sixteen years, I dedicated myself to training and imparting knowledge upon that young man, equipping him with considerable expertise. However, presently, my powers are waning, and I am becoming increasingly cognizant of my advancing age. The enchantment that had preserved my youthful appearance can no longer be harnessed.
Consequently, my physical form is swiftly succumbing to the effects of aging, while he has blossomed into an individual of remarkable strength, exceeding any expectations I had
He definitly has his mothers strenght and my smarts.
I observed the billowing smoke and immediately hastened towards the village where a terrifying sight awaited me. The village lay in ruins with numerous casualties. A soldier donning foreboding black armor and wielding a menacing black sword was ruthlessly taking the lives of innocent individuals. He directed a piercing glance at me, filled with intense malevolence.
Curiosity struck him as he interrogated, 'Who are you, old man?' In response, I divulged my true name, Merlin, breaking a long-held tradition of concealing it. As I positioned myself before him, Hydra launched an attack, but to his surprise, I skillfully evaded it. I attempted a swift kick, yet he swiftly sidestepped.
In a sudden turn of events, he vanished from my sight, although his potent presence still loomed. Sadly, I soon realized the gravity of the situation as he struck me from behind, piercing my back with his sword. Hydra wickedly chuckled at my helpless state and proceeded to plant his foot against my back to extract the weapon. However, seizing an opportunity, I grasped onto the blade firmly.
With the sword locked in place at such close proximity, he was unable to free it. Seizing this opening, I unleashed a powerful energy blast directly towards his face, causing him to collapse onto the ground.
I observed him motionless, devoid of any movement. With the removal of the sword, an excruciating pain surged through me, a sensation not experienced in countless years, rendering me feeble.
In the distance, a plume of smoke caught my attention, emanating from my abode. Recognizing the urgency, I comprehended the need for swiftness, harnessing the energy of my son, ensuring his well-being.
Although not his biological father, our paths coincided fortuitously, enabling me to share my knowledge and unveil his latent abilities.
On that fateful day, in order to preserve his life, I valiantly protected them, subsequently falling in love with his mother, solidifying our bond as a family. Regretfully, I should have disclosed the truth to him, refraining from concealing it.
You, my dear old man, are of no use in aiding them now, as I dispatched my most formidable forces to eliminate them.
Hydra? How do you persist in enduring?
Admirably attempted, yet I am no ordinary human. The time has come for your demise, old man.
He charged towards me, but with the awareness of limited time, I swiftly employed my dragon breath spell. Does that ring a bell?
The fire encircled him, impervious to any harm from even the mightiest of monsters.
As he walked through the fiery ordeal, I witnessed a revelation of his true nature.
With urgency, I launched numerous blasts of energy at him, but to no avail as he charged towards me.
You have fallen right into my carefully planned trap, Hydra.
In an instant, he became frozen in place. Seizing the opportunity, I took his sword and thrust it directly into his heart.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, I hurriedly made my way home, though my movements proved laborious.
Despite the excruciating pain that made my legs feel on the verge of collapse, I managed to persevere by utilizing my magic.
Finally arriving at my destination, I came upon a scene of devastation: a multitude of stab wounds marred her lifeless body.
Without hesitation, a loud noise caught my attention outside — my son had somehow survived.
As I rushed out, the sight before me was beyond belief: hundreds of soldiers lay dead, yet he continued to fight.
Boy, come here immediately, I called out firmly.
Ignoring my command, the boy's eyes burned with anger as he ruthlessly pummeled the lone surviving soldier.
Cerberus, stop! You have already killed him.
With a dark and hate-filled gaze, he turned to look at me.
Boy, it is time to depart now.
Grabbing his wrist, I hurriedly led him away.
Father, you are bleeding. We must attend to your injury.
There is no time, my son. These are not ordinary soldiers we have encountered together.
I was impressed at his strength he beat so many of them i cant believe his strength.
I felt my body hurting they shot me with arrows I fell to my knees.

I was deeply impressed by his incredible strength, as he defeated a multitude of opponents. It is truly astonishing to witness his remarkable power.
As arrows pierced my body, immense pain surged throughout me, causing me to collapse onto my knees.
Father, we must arise promptly; we have no time to waste.
As I glanced over, I observed a vast assembly of soldiers, numbering at least five hundred. When I turned my attention to Cerberus, I could detect fear lurking in his eyes, yet he averted his gaze from them.
The pain intensified, causing me to glance downwards and realizing that I had been impaled.
Old man, your time has reached its conclusion.
Hydra, you are here as well.
To my astonishment, you are still alive. Did you truly believe you could eliminate me?
Ah, now this is intriguing, you possess a son.
As I spotted Hydra approaching him, I swiftly leaped forward and pushed him back.
Father, are you alright?
My son, the time has come for you to embark upon your own path. Summon your inner strength, for you are prepared.
Father, I do not feel prepared.
I simply cannot bear the thought of separating from you; I will fight beside you.
With a firm grip on him, I opened a portal while lifting him above the ground.
Take solace in the belief that you will endure, have faith in yourself. I am immensely proud of you, my brave son.
With a forceful toss, I propelled Cerberus through the portal.
And now, Hydra, it is your final hour.
Indeed, the time has come for your demise.
I gazed at him and offered a smile, knowing that our reunion is imminent, my dear old friend.
