He looked at me for a moment, but his face did not give me even a hint of what he was thinking. He had his poker face mastered and it was an impressive one. Rarely do I see someone hiding their feelings so well, not even among royalty. After a moment of reading my face, he just shook his head and looked through the window that showed slight shadows of sunlight peaking through. “I locked the doors when I came in before, I did not want us to be disturbed.
