ANDREA’S POV
“Mom? Where is Enzo? " I inquired as I entered the house.
"He said he'd just walk around outdoors," mama replied.
I'm suddenly concerned that he's not at home, so I go outside to look for him. He's new to the area, and some locals are suspicious of strangers.
"Grr, where are you?" I murmured to myself, unable to locate him.
I dialed his phone, “Where are you?” I inquired flatly.
"At your back," he responded. I turned around to see him standing there. It's a good thing he didn't go too far.
"What have you been up to? I'm quite concerned about you," I said as I approached him. I put my phone in my pocket and stared at him.
"Earlier, someone was following you, so I confronted them."
Hearing those words from him surprises me. Is it possible that someone is following me? That's a little unsettling.
"Do they have the appearance of a thug? " I inquired, but all he did was a chuckle, which perplexed me. We're dealing with a potentially dangerous scenario, and he's just smiling about it.
“No. Not in the least. They appear to be well-off. They claimed to have become disoriented with the place. I am just not sure” he admitted.
"All right," I said after a sigh, "I think they’re telling the truth.”
They wouldn’t think of k********g me because I don’t have anything to give them and I don’t have enemies either, so there’s only one reason for that; they just lost their way. To whoever they are, I don’t really care.
"So... how's your day going?" Enzo inquired.
“Fine. Everything went well," I said.
We were walking back to our house when I asked him, "When are you going back to the province?"
"Actually... I'm staying here indefinitely..."
“What? Really?!”
Gosh! That excites me tremendously! I tried to persuade him to come here, but he stated he couldn't leave that area, our hometown. We used to reside in the same province, quite far from here, and we just moved here after Papa's injury.
That was the pivotal point at which our lives began to change. We sold Papa's properties in the province for his operation and elected to stay here for better medicine access, so we've only been here for a little over a year.
“Yeah. I'll be looking for a job, some kind of chance here, so I can help my parents with their household bills and my siblings' school-related expenses," he said, smiling.
That's what I admire about him: he always prioritized his family over himself. He is devoted to his family and is really considerate.
"I'm delighted they agreed," I stated.
"I'm glad as well," he remarked. I felt his hand stretch for mine and they entwined. I smiled at him, and he returned my smile.
"There's only one problem..." I said as he came to a halt in front of me.
I locked my gaze on him and bit the inside of my lower lip, unsure of how to begin my remark.
"You're not going to be able to stay at home." You know... you and I living under the same roof... it's just not appropriate..."
"As for that, I'm sure I understand. Tito told me I could remain here while I looked for a boarding house," he explained.
“Okay. That's great news!”
"May I have a hug?" he inquired.
I could feel the need in his face and the gleam in his eyes as he looked at me, and I missed him too... a lot. We haven't seen each other in over a year and have to rely on phone calls and texts to keep in touch.
I dig myself into him and dugged him tightly without saying anything. Hugging him once more feels extremely relaxing and wonderful. I still can't believe he's here with me at last.
"Do you mind if I kiss you?"
He is murmuring in my ear, giving me the creeps, but they're also turning me on. Because he's my boyfriend, he could just kiss me without even asking, but the fact that he still asked demonstrates that he cares about my feelings at any cost. When I'm around him, I always feel validated.
"Of course!" I exclaimed, giggling. "I love you."
My entire face is enthralled by him as he draws closer. He’s the only man that I can see the entire time.
"I love you, too."
"I love you, too," I felt a spark in my entire nerve that flashed inside of me. Except for one thing, which you know, I kind of missed all of the things we've done together.
"Let's go?" " I told him with a triumphant expression on my face.
This set-up is superb. I'm not sure what lies ahead for us now that we're back together, but I'm looking forward to moving in tandem with him.
When we arrived home and saw my parents waiting for us at the door, I couldn't help but smile. They're all I need to keep going and overcome whatever obstacles life has thrown my way.
"How about we eat?" as we get closer, my mother says.
"Do you mind if I have a group hug?" I asked and my parents gave it to me without hesitation. I give Enzo a look, and he realizes that I'm asking him to join us.
"I love you all". We remained there till we decided to eat the dinner that my mother had prepared for us all.
It was a simple meal with all of my favorite foods cooked, but it was such a memorable occasion. We may not be wealthy, but I can claim that my parents, the ones I love, and those who loved me sincerely have showered me with love and affection.

TORI’S POV
I awoke with excruciating agony in my head. It's not that I haven't had a hangover before, but I despise them. However, booze tastes so nice when you need to get away from something.
"Are you alright?"
As I raised my eyes, I noticed my mother standing on the doorstep, staring at me. I'm still wearing the same dress from last night, and it's just... disgusting!
If this is how I'm going to wake up the next day, I shouldn't drink again.
To avoid making eye contact with Mom, I looked away.
"You had a wild night last night. You even pushed Caleb and broke those hotel glasses," she said solemnly.
Sh*t! I despise the bad feelings I've had after a night of drinking.
Broken glasses were not her problem; it was me and how I performed at the party last night.
"You are aware that there are no media present, but what if there are? What do you think people would say if footage of your carelessness was leaked and everyone saw it? " Mom said flatly, and I couldn't look at her because I couldn't look at her."
She was scolding me again, so I calmly and respectfully answered, "But there's none, you just stated it, mom."
"Thank goodness there aren't any. Look at me... could you kindly look at me?"
I carefully tilted my head to see my mother. She's disappointed again.
"Do you recall the last time you got wasted in a bar? Do you remember what happened? Because you're so out of control, some guys are trying to take advantage of you. You shouldn't drink too much because you won't be able to handle it," she said.
"Sorry," I said, lowering my head because I couldn't fight with her.
"You're not showing up for work right now. I already texted the director, and he agreed to excuse you only for today, and they'll be doing various sequences as well," she explained.
"Thanks, mom," I answered, wanting to smile but choosing not to.
"After you've fixed yourself, go down for breakfast. I still have to get ready for work."
I couldn't disguise my delight after she departed. There will be no work today, thanks to Mom!
I jumped out of bed, took a shower, and left the house right away. I need to get out of here and see something.
I got in my car and drove to the same location where I spotted the girl who looked eerily similar to me. So, assuming I wasn't totally deluded last night, I'm thinking I might be able to see her.
I drove down the street where the girl had entered the previous night, and while I drove, I noticed random people going by in this little area till...
"She's... real," I whispered.
The entire scene appears to be moving at a snail's pace, and all I can see is her walking in my direction.
She's... me...
Is that even possible?! How did I end up with someone who looks precisely like me? I thought this only happened in movies, but it's true! and I'm witnessing it right now as I stare at her!
“Andrea! What's going on? " Her name was called by a local person.
Andrea is her given name. She comes over and they converse for a while, even looking at... me? or my automobile?
I kept staring at her as she walked through my car, but she eventually came to a halt directly in front of me, and I couldn't help but feel starstruck as I stared at her. This is completely ridiculous! She'd been telling me to drive back, but I couldn't hear her until she walked to the side of the car where the driver's seat is located.
When she knocked on the door, I panicked and grabbed the cap from the back seat, putting on a shade to disguise myself before rolling down the window.
My heart is racing like it's in a race, and I feel like I'm having a heart attack!
"Hey, could you please pull over to the side of the road because you know this street is too narrow for both automobiles and people? There aren't any automobiles here, so if you don't mind, could you—-"
"Sure, y-yeah!" Sh*t!' I'm even stuttering now!
“Cool! Thanks. By the way, if it's not too much trouble, are you a female or a guy? I couldn't tell who you were since I couldn't see your face."
"U-Uhm, I'm a... g-girl," I nervously replied.
“Why are you not taking off your cap? You’re inside the car…Are you okay? You look tensed… oh my gosh did I freak you out? Oh gosh! That wasn’t my intention. I apologize if I come across as disrespectful."
“No! That's OK. It's time for me to leave! Bye!”
My adrenaline says “close the f*cking window fast” because I am not breathing and talking with her.
*Heavy sigh*
Speaking with her feels surreal, and I'm tense... very tense right now! But, before anyone can yell at me for bringing my car here, I turn around and drive back so that I can go and, perhaps, breathe easier after seeing her.
I'll absolutely get back to her when I'm ready, but that shouldn't take too long because I'm sure she'll be as taken aback as I was when she first saw me.
*Phone rings*
Caleb has called...
WHAT?? CALEEEEEEBBBB??
Oh my god!! I was reminded of that stupid act I did last night after seeing his name on my phone. What the hell, I didn't remember that earlier!! I've been caught red-handed!
OH MY GOD, DID I JUST CRY ON HIM LAST NIGHT? Grr, that was the most humiliating thing I'd ever done in my life.
*sigh*
“What?" I inquired as I picked up the phone.
"Where have you gone? I was told there won't be a shoot for our scene today, so I stopped by to see how you're doing. You're not here, so where are you?”
He came to check on me at home, which is nice, but what I did was embarrassing, so I'm not going to meet him today.
"I have something to do, bye," I said as I hung up the phone.
I'm too tired at this hour to think about how silly I was when I sobbed in front of him.
