Xander Someone had disconnected the battery. I couldn't believe that it took two hours for me to figure that out. What baffled me was why. I couldn't think of a reason why anyone would do that. Yet, I pushed those thoughts away and hurried to meet the love of my life. I had already wasted too much of my time on my car. By the time I reached her apartment, it was dark.
