*** The sensation of suddenly having a knife placed against your throat is not something that can easily be described. For a moment, time seemed to stand still, and I was left wondering if this was even real. “There we go, little girl,” a cold voice whispered behind me. “Just keep your mouth shut and we can end this quickly.” Calloused hands held me in place, pinning me against the wall with a grip that nearly shattered my bones in half. A hooded figure stood in front of me, his pale skin appearing almost ghostlike as he peered at me. He was so close that I could smell his rancid breath, and my skin prickled as he touched me.
