Chapter 10 Dances aren’t my thing Ryker After going home, life had settled down. I started feeling more like myself. It had to do with Val. Everything was fine until I saw Homecoming posters plastered on the school’s walls. God, I loathed school dances. I always got dragged to one and appeared awkward around people. Last year was horrible. I reasoned that dancing with my ex would be more enjoyable. As my life spiraled downward, things deteriorated.
