The ride back home was silent. Quincy sat beside his Beta in the front seat while Sage sat at the back with Ivan. None of them speaks and it was really awkward.
At last Quincy's cellphone rang out, pulling everyone's attention. The Alpha took out his mobile and briefly glance at the screen only to see Sara Rainbow calling.
This amazed him so much and he took no time before raising up his eyebrow in curiosity.
" It's your mate " He mutters to Gage before answering it. " What do you want? " He went so straight to the point, making it known to Sara that her call is never wanted.
" You are still mad at me Quincy " The voice of Sara came from the other end in a seduction manner. " How many times would I have to tell you that I am only acting on order "
