"Is anyone here?" Maximo shouted loudly. He was standing in a dark place, he couldn't see anything which was why he felt scared. "Ki ki ki!" Maximo heard from the place where he was. Maximo's eyes widened because of the sound he heard, it was the sound of the Devils! "Who's there! Show up!" Maximo yelled at the place. Maximo rolled his eyes. The formerly very dark place gradually brought light into the distance. Maximo ran quickly closer to the light. When he reached the opposite light, he saw a boy sitting on the swing, holding hands on the rope, and bowing his head. "Do you know that boy, Maximo?" The man's voice asked Maximo. Maximo couldn't answer because he knew the boy sitting on the swing very well, none other than him when he was young! Maximo watched his young version and there he saw his past. ....... "Come on, let's play, Maximo!" A smiling boy invited Maximo. It was sitting on the swing hanging from the mango tree, holding hands on the rope, and staring at the three smiling boys staring at him. Maximo was only six years old when he experienced a cruel fate. Maximo was found by an old man when he was a baby. Because of the hardships of life, the old man took Maximo to an orphanage, and there he grew up. A boy approached, he was fat and his eyes were narrowed. "Come on, Maximo!" The boy said to him. "No. I don't!" Maximo protested. "Our game is fun, Maximo so don't refuse anymore!" said the fat man. Maximo did nothing when the fat boy pulled him away. Maximo didn’t like the game they were saying, because he knew differently they would do to him. They dragged Maximo to the back of the orphanage and there the three men played what they said was Maximo's game. They pushed Maximo away. He fell to the ground so the three boys laughed out loud. Maximo slowly looked at the three boys. They approached Maximo. A smiling child bowed. "Isn't this a fun game for us?" The boy asked her. Maximo could not answer when the man in the middle suddenly kicked him, and two others followed. This is how Maximo lived in the orphanage, he was always teased by his fellow children because of his loneliness. He doesn't socialize with other children because he doesn't like what they do, so sometimes, he's just in his room to avoid young bullies, until someone adopted him. Maximo was able to study in a good school, all those who adopted him provided for his needs because they had no children. Maximo rewarded his adoptive parents by excelling in his studies. Her adoptive parents enjoyed it, but it was inevitable that she would be tempted, especially at school. Because of his study, he did not have any friends. He didn’t have time to talk to them because he promised himself that he would work hard for the people who adopted him, and for himself. Due to the interruption of his studies, he also did not want to have relationships with women. He believed that the relationship was only a nuisance to his aspirant. Maximo worked hard to achieve his goal in life until his first study of quantum physics became popular. Maximo caught the attention of famous scientists then. He was invited to study in a very good facility for people with a knowledge of science. As a result, those who adopted him were happy because of the success he enjoyed in life. Maximo left to enter the facility and there he focused his life until he made various invasions that helped science. Despite all the success he had enjoyed, he did not think of the people who helped him, the people who adopted him. Maximo was busy making a machine when he heard that the people who adopted him had died in an accident. Maximo went home to visit the people who helped him to reach his destination, and there he learned that all the wealth of his adoptive parents had left him. Many relatives of Maximo's adoptive parents were angry because it was just one adoption! . . . . . . . . "Look how bad people are, Maximo. Because of money, luxury, and wealth they are like that!" Said the voice to Maximo. Maximo's eyes are still not removed from the round light that reflects his past. . . . . . . . . Maximo was riding in his black car when he was suddenly hit by a truck. Maximo's life was in danger. He was rushed to a hospital and there he was treated. It was also revealed who had planned Maximo’s accident, the relatives of the people who adopted him. . . . . . .. . Maximo clenched his fists as he watched everyone in the circle light up. Now he knows who was behind the accident that happened to him. . . . . . . . . "Is that Maximo dead?" Asked a man, the brother of his identified father. "It's impossible for him to survive the injuries he sustained!" Replied a man who was talking to his estranged father's brother. "That thing belongs only to him! Who is he for my brother to bequeath to him all the wealth he and his wife have, right?" Commented the man, smiling, and drinking wine. "You're right in what you said, he's just a splinter in the family so he shouldn't get anything!" The man agreed with what Maximo's known father's brother said. . . . . . . . "That's how people are, Maximo. They're selfish. If they want something, they'll do bad just to get it," the man's voice said to Maximo. As Maximo stared at the round light, it slowly disappeared. Maximo was stunned when he heard loud laughter. "That's how people are, Maximo! They don't deserve to live!" Maximo heard the man's voice. "Who are you! Get out of your hiding place! Show me!" Maximo yelled, commanding him to face him. "Ki ki ki!" Maximo heard. Maximo knew that a Devil was talking to him. He wandered around the dark place to look for the Devil, but he could find nothing. "Do you really want to see me, Maximo?" The man asked her. "Take your face out, Devil!" Maximo shouted loudly. After he said that, he noticed a body slowly coming out of the darkness. It glows red, so he can clearly see the entirety of the creature. The creature is tall, he has two horns on his head, his eyes are red, his fangs are scary in his mouth, and like Amanda, he also has a black body. "Who are you!" Maximo asked the Devil boldly. The Devil stopped walking and faced Maximo, smiling, and Maximo could feel the Devil's strange aura. "I'm Calix, one of Darkius' highest level Devils!" The Devil introduced to Maximo. Maximo's eyes widened as Calix introduced him. "What do you need from me? Why did you bring me to this place!" Maximo shouted at him. "I entered your mind, Maximo, and I saw your past," Calix replied to him. “From what I see, it looks like you’ve been through something horrible,” Calix told Maximo. "What do you care about my past?" Maximo asked Calix. "I was just thinking, Maximo. Why don't you come with me and take revenge on the people who hurt you?" Calix said to him. Maximo looked at Calix. "I'm not crazy for what you want to happen!" Maximo replied boldly to him. "Why? Don't you want those who hurt you to be held accountable? Your adoptive family, Maximo?" Calix asked him. “Yes, they did a bad thing to me, but I didn’t think to take revenge on them,” Maximo told Calix. "Despite what they did to you, you won't move to pay them?" Calix asked. Maximo shook his head, "No, because nothing can make revenge good!" Maximo replied. Calix's eyes narrowed because of what Maximo said. “All people make sins, wrong life decisions, and mistakes because no human is perfect!” Maximo added. "Revenge is only for the weak. They don't dare to face the lives caused by the people who hurt them!" Maximo continued. "But I, I was able to face the things that were given to me. I learned to fight back then because of the events that went through my life, the ridicule of people on me until they took my life. I used those to be successful, and to be strong! "Maximo concluded. Calix laughed out loud because of what he heard, "I honestly can't imagine how you beat Amanda," Calix told her. Maximo was upset because of what Calix said. "Who's Amanda are you talking about?" Maximo asked in surprise. Calix looked at Maximo. He observed its face. He felt that Maximo was telling the truth, he didn't know what happened to him and Amanda! "You don't know?" Calix asked him. "What do I not know? Why? What happened?" Maximo asked. Calix approached Maximo at his stand. Maximo moved backward because of the fear he felt. "Don't you say you didn't know you defeated Amanda? The level ninety-six Devil!" Maximo's eyes widened because of what Calix had told him. "Me? I beat the Devil girl earlier?" Maximo asked, pointing his index finger at himself. "Yes, and because of that, you are the first one we will kill!" Calix threatened. Calix raised his hand. He applied it to Maximo's chest and he unleashed black magic. Maximo was devastated by what he saw. He was even more scared because he knew Calix would attack him. While the two of them were in that position, Calix felt strange. He was surrounded by his vision of the place because of the strange presence he felt. Moments later, Calix's body suddenly weighed down. "What's going on?" Calix asked himself in astonishment. He slowly rose. Although he didn't want to stay away from Maximo, he did nothing as if there was a strong magnet pulling him. "We'll find you and we'll kill you first, Maximo!" Calix shouted last before he disappeared from Maximo's sight.
