Chapter 28

" Open your eyes, and let's face each other!" Amanda yelled, kicking Maximo's feet.

Maximo opened his eyes and looked at Amanda.

Amanda saw Maximo's eyes. It was so red that it looked like it wanted to kill her.

Amanda felt scared because of what she saw, but she wouldn't budge.

They both in her territory, now so, she has nothing to fear.

Amanda brought Maximo into her territory to find out what kind of person was Maximo.

She had a strange feeling about Maximo that she needed to know what it was.

The monster that the Majar Captains and Alexander fighting was Amanda's transformation, but her real body was hidden inside the snake monster.

Maximo slowly stood up. He faced Amanda with a sharp look.

Amanda calmed herself.

' He can do nothing to me here. He is just a strange man! 'Amanda said to herself as she looked at Maximo.

" Tell me, who are you!?l " Amanda asked Maximo, with an authority in her voice.

Maximo did not answer.

Amanda's eyes narrowed because of what Maximo was showing her.

Amanda shook her head, grind at Maximo, "You don't want to answer my question? In that case, you decided to die!" Amanda yelled at him.

Amanda raised her right hand, pointed at Maximo's chest. She unleashed dark magic to attack Maximo.

Amanda just smiled as she released the black magic like a laser onto Maximo's body, but nothing happened!

Amanda widened her eyes as Maximo confronted it effortlessly.

Using Maximo's right hand, he deflected her attack like nothing.

" What's going on? " Amanda asked, not believing what she saw of Maximo did.

Amanda continued to attack Maximo as she had done. If she used only one hand a while ago, now, she used her two hands.

She couldn't believe it. How is Maximo able to repel his attacks?

Amanda moved backward, and stop attacking.

" Who are you? Why I couldn't control you, I couldn't see what are your desired things, and now, you are able to repel my attacks?!" Amanda asked, annoyed by what Maximo did to her.

Maximo still doesn't answer her that made her more annoyed.

Amanda sighed heavy breath, " Are you teasing me? " Amanda asked, glared at Maximo.

Maximo just stared at Amanda, he doesn't answer her.

"If my attacks and my abilities don't affect you, I just don't know what kind of person you are!" Amanda said in a strong voice.

She raised her two hands.

Maximo moved to approach Amanda.

Amanda moved backward as she saw Maximo's eyes, his weird eyes!

Amanda felt that the Maximo in front of her is different unlike a while ago, so, she decided to end Maximo's Life.

Amanda accumulated a strong black circular of energy using her two hands above her.

There were strong winds all over the place because of what she is doing. The circular black magic was making a strong aura all over the place, but Maximo didn't bother about it.

Maximo continued to approach Amanda.

She was unmoved whatever she is doing, accumulating intense black energy for Maximo.

When the black circular energy ball was big enough for Maximo, Amanda quickly released it towards Maximo.

" You're going to die! " Amanda yelled at Maximo.

The large circle of energy hit Maximo.

Amanda smiled because she was sure that Maximo's body was already thorned apart.

There was a loud explosion at Maximo's location, so Amanda smiled because she was sure that Maximo didn't make it.

" If you had only introduced yourself to me earlier, I might even let you live! " Amanda said, shaking her head in disappointment.

Amanda heave a deep sighed and closed her eyes. She was about to start walking when he noticed someone standing from the explosion.

Amanda widened her eyes when she saw Maximo standing, holding a rusty sword.

"How did that happen? That was the strongest attack I've had!" Amanda told him.

Since her last attack didn't work, Amanda quickly approached Maximo. She stared at Maximo and tried to control it, but he couldn't. She kissed her again to die because of his poisonous kiss but did not respond either.

Amanda slowly backed away as she stared at Maximo." I can't believe it! How can my abilities and my powers not affect you?" Amanda asked Maximo confused.

Maximo raised his rusty Sword.

Amanda was confused about what Maximo was going to do, so she quickly came out of the body of the monster snake.

Maximo swung his rusty Sword, and there was a big explosion inside the body of the monster snake.

The Majar Captains and Alexander saw what was happening to the giant snake monster.

It suddenly stopped attacking them and shone like it going to explode. The Majars closed their eyes because of the continuous strong light coming from the giant snake monster.

A few moments later, the body of the monster snake exploded, and Maximo came out.

Alexander and the Majar Captains' widened their eyes because of what they saw.

Maximo just stood, floating in the air. In more than five seconds, Amanda showed herself and faced Maximo.

" How there you to kill my pet! !" Amanda yelled at Maximo.

Maximo raised his rusty Sword to attack again Amanda.

Amanda quickly moved to avoid Maximo's attack, but Amanda was shocked when Maximo suddenly showed in front of her.

Amanda looked into Maximo's red eyes. His face was serious that that made her felt afraid.

Amanda applied her two palms to Maximo's body and released intense black energy, but nothing happened, so, she quickly flew away from Maximo.

' This is not real! How come that my attacks did not affect him! ' Amanda asked herself.

' I am the level ninety-six Devil at Darkius! It is impossible that this human will defeat me! '

Amanda raised her two hands. A big circular black magic formed below her.

The Members of Majars who were fighting against the low-level Devils stopped and looked at Amanda's position.

Even the low-level devils quickly run to avoid what Amanda going to do.

" This Kingdom will turn into dust! " Amanda Yelled.

From the circular black magic, it released series of black rays around the area.

The members of Majars quickly avoided the black rays, while the Captains make sure that the Black Rays will not enter the Capital.

Using the Armas and magic of the Majar Captains, they blocked the black rays from entering the Capital.

Alexander quickly approached Amanda, trying to attack her and stop what she is doing.

He managed to avoid the Black Rays coming from the Circular Black Magic of Amanda, but he didn't proceed to attack her.

It seems that there was a strong barrier around Amanda that protected her.

Amanda smiled as she saw Alexander could do nothing about her.

" You can't break my black barrier! " Amanda yelled at Alexander.

Alexander stared at Amanda. He readied his Armas, pointed at Amanda's position.

" Solar Laser! " Alexander yelled.

A strong solar laser came out at Alexander's Armas toward the big circular black magic.

When the solar laser collided with the circular black magic, there was nothing happen! The solar laser just passed through to the circular black magic that Alexander made him surprised.

' What happened? " Maximo asked, did not believe that his Solar laser has nothing to do with the big circular black magic.

Amanda laughed, " I told you a while ago that this Kingdom will be going to turn into dust! " she said.

While Alexander facing Amanda, he suddenly felt strange magic. He looked at his back and saw the face of serious Maximo.

His rusty sword emitting red magic that made her surprised.

' What is going on? I thought, Maximo has no Mana? Has no Magic? ' Alexander asked himself as he looked at the sword of Maximo.

Maximo raised his rusty sword and quickly flew toward Amanda.

Amanda became complacent even if Maximo approached her. She smiled and believed that he will not defeat her.

When Maximo approached Amanda, he quickly used his Rusty sword to the big circular black magic.

" It is useless! You will not destroy my power! " Amanda shouted.

Suddenly, Amanda felt that her Circular Black Magic has something happened. She looked at it and saw that the circular black magic cut into two.

The strong magic that Amanda was emitting disappeared suddenly, which surprised her.

Maximo raised his rusty Sword again, and he attacked Amanda

Because of the sudden attack of Maximo, Amanda didn't have time to avoid it.

Amanda felt that it seems that there was something that cut her body. She looked at her body and widened her eyes when she saw that her body is going to split into two.

"Even if you split my body, I have the ability to regenerate to go back to my normal body," Amanda said to Maximo with a smile, but it looks like it will not going to happen.

"What's going on?" Amanda stuttered.

Her body did not return to the normal as she knew. The Devils have the ability to regenerate their bodies as long as their seven hearts did not destroy, but it seems that she has bad luck today because of what is happening.

She looked at Maximo.

Maximo raised his rusty Sword again and attacked Amanda one after another.

Soon, Amanda's body disintegrated until it exploded violently.

Alexander and the Majar Captains could not believe it because of what they saw.

They can't move in their position, they stocked of where they are, looking at the position of Maximo.

They were still shocked at what Maximo had done to Amanda.

They can't even imagine what happened because they used to have a hard time fighting her.

When Amanda's body exploded, it coincided with Maximo's unconsciousness.

Maximo's body slowly collapsed, and fall.

Mercy moved quickly.

Using her Armas, it released wind to supports Maximo's fall, so that, he will not going to hurt.

"Mercy, take Maximo inside the border. We'll take care of the rest of the Devils here," Alexander ordered Mercy, who immediately obeyed him.

The battle continued between the Majars and the remaining Devils.

The Majarls did not let even one Devils remain.

They have to beat them all, so that, they don't have a problem.

Meanwhile, Mercy has already taken Maximo inside the Capital.

The soldiers of the Defense Unit have immediately approached them.

"What happened?" Jay asked in surprise when he saw Maximo closed his eyes, unconscious.

"Maximo fought the high-level Devils," Mercy replied to Jay, who surprised him.

Jay widened his eyes because of what he heard.

" He fought to the high-level devil? Alone?" Jay asked, stuttered, and could not believe it.

" You're right. We don't know how he did that, but with the rusty Sword, he was able to defeat her," Mercy replied.

Jay glanced at the rusty Sword.

Because of the intensity of its rust, there was no blade can still be seen.

' How did Max defeat the high-level Devil using this rusty sword? ' Jay asked himself in astonishment.

As they looked at the rusty Sword of Maximo, it slowly disappearing. They observed what will happen until it completely disappeared.

" The sword disappeared!" Jay said.

Mercy looked at the Sword but she didn't saw it.

" Looked at him, and I'll be back outside to fight. The Devils need to be defeated so that, they can't get in here, inside the Capital! " Mercy told him.

Jay just nodded and looked at Maximo.

The Soldiers took care of Maximo. They laid him on a nice bed and called a doctor to take a look at Maximo's condition.

Soon, a doctor came to see Maximo, so Jay was reassured.

Outside the border of the Capital, the Majars are still fighting the Devils.

Gradually, the Devils were decreasing their numbers until they were all defeated.

All the Majars rejoiced because of the victory they had achieved. They were able to prevent the Devils from attacking the Nara Kingdom.

When the battle was over, the Majar Captains shouted. They line up their Members to find out if anyone has been injured or killed in the fighting.

No Majar was killed in their fight with the Devils. There were wounded, but they were able to stand.

" All the wounded, go to the hospital. Those who can still walk, come with me! " Alexander yelled at the Majars who were here.

The wounded Majars and the Majars who were still able to move separated and joined Alexander.

They went to the destroyed border of the Capital.

"We need to fix this border as soon as possible!" Alexander said.

The border serves as a barrier to the Devils if someone attacks them.

It also serves as a place for the Soldiers of Defense Unit as their position to ensure that there is no danger is coming, and to observe whether an enemy is approaching or not.

The Defense Units of the Nara Kingdom were also stationed here to use the weapons made by Maximo

."Let's all rest first, and tomorrow morning, we will start rebuilding the border of the Nara Kingdom!"
