I feel laughter bubbling in my throat.
The look on Charlie's face is simply priceless.
The doctor smiles at him.
"Your girlfriend is pregnant, buddy. You'll have a bouncing junior in seven months."
"She's not my girlfriend."
"But you told the medics that you are her boyfriend. Are you going to deny her now that she's pregnant? Come on, man."
Charlie gives me a confused look but I look away to hide the laughter that is chocking me. His eyes are glazed as the good doctor pushes him into the room.
I want to go inside and see Lisa but Willy arrives almost immediately. He gives me a quick hug and takes my hand. It's just sad that no one really bothers with Lisa.
He opens the door and I slide in quickly and in no time, we are on the road.
