I had barely started to stir when Shiloh enthusiastically exclaimed, “Happy birthday, my love!”
From the sound of her voice, I could tell she had herself propped up, so I reached over and pulled Shiloh down on top of me, then I hugged her tight while mumbling, “Thanks, sweetheart! Good morning.”
“Good morning,” she hummed, snuggling her face into my neck.
