I slowly opened my eyes, and I was filled with fear and confusion as I tried to remember how I got here. As my vision cleared, I took in my surroundings. The room was dimly lit and eerie. I was in a small room with concrete walls, and the cylindrical structure I was tied to was in the center.
With only a single bulb hanging from the ceiling, casting eerie shadows on the walls, and the sound of my own breathing echoed against them. The silence was deafening, and I couldn't shake the feeling that I was in grave danger.
As I struggled against my restraints, I couldn't help but feel a sense of panic rising in my chest. The ropes that bound me were tight, and I felt a sense of hopelessness wash over me.
My heart was racing, and my mind was filled with questions about how I got here and what was going to happen to me. I took deep breaths, trying to calm myself down.
As I tried to piece together what had happened, my mind raced with thoughts of my brother and what could have happened to him. When I thought that he might also be held captive in this strange and scary place, my heart sank.
Even though the room was empty, my growing fear and anxiety made it feel even more so. I tried to break free and find answers. But with every movement, the tightness of the ropes only seemed to tighten around me, leaving me feeling trapped and helpless.
I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched, that I was part of some larger, sinister plan. The questions swirled around in my mind, each one more chilling than the last.
What was the purpose of this trap? Who had brought me here? And where was my brother, Charlie?
I tried to free myself again when I suddenly heard footsteps approaching me. I turned my head to see a woman and a man enter the room. They were talking about me, and I listened in horror as the woman said, "She isn't pure, Kael has marked her, and she's probably carrying his child."
The man was furious, and he yelled, "With a baby in her belly, she can't be a gift for Alpha Duncan!" He suggested removing the baby from my belly.
My heart dropped as I realized what they were planning to do to me. I struggled harder against my restraints, tears streaming down my face as I tried to escape my fate.
In that moment, I felt more helpless and scared than ever before. I didn't know what was going to happen to me, but I knew that it wouldn't be good.
As I lay tied, the sound of their footsteps grew closer. Then I overheard the woman's voice tell the man, "It's not confirmed yet if she's carrying Kael's baby."
Fear crept into my mind as I realized they were talking about me. I forced myself to keep my eyes shut, feigning sleep.
"Well, we can't wait for confirmation," the man gruffly replied. "With a baby in her belly, she’s no use. Alpha Duncan wouldn’t want her. We need to remove it."
The woman hummed in agreement, and I couldn't help but let out a small gasp, giving away my charade. They both turned their gazes towards me, and I could see their eyes narrow with suspicion.
“Look at her,” the man said. “Alpha Duncan will have fun with her.”
“I don’t know. She looks too frail. And she’s human. I don’t think she’ll last with Alpha Duncan,” the woman replied.
The man chuckled. "Well, she's awake," he said in a low voice. I could feel his cold gaze on me, sending shivers down my spine.
I tried not to respond, keeping my eyes closed and my breathing slow, but I knew it was only a matter of time before he caught on.
Suddenly, I felt a rough hand on my shoulder, shaking me awake. My eyes shot open, and I was met with the sight of the man towering over me. His face was disfigured, with deep scars and rough lines marking his skin. He had a rough and gruff voice, and his eyes were dark and piercing.
"Wake up," he barked, "You can't fool me with your little act."
I was filled with fear as I looked into his eyes, and I felt like my heart was pounding in my chest. I knew I had to keep calm and try to find a way out of this situation, but it was difficult with this monster looming over me.
But I froze in fear the second my eyes caught the sharp glint of the knife in the man's hand. My heart was pounding in my chest as I realized the gravity of the situation.
The man was nonchalant about the whole thing, as if he were about to cut an apple, not a human being.
The woman, on the other hand, seemed to be trying to reason with him. "Wait! No? Here? You're going to do it?" she asked, her voice rising in panic.
The man shrugged, his disfigured face revealing no emotion. "Why not?" he replied.
The woman's eyes widened as she realized the danger I was in. "What if she won't make it? Are you crazy?" she asked, her voice shaking with fear.
I could feel my entire body shaking as I tried to think of a way to escape, but my mind was blank. I was completely at the mercy of these two people, and the thought of what they were planning to do to me made me feel sick to my stomach.
I was struggling to keep their hands off me. My heart was pounding in my chest as I tried to break free. But the man was stronger. He seized me by my ankles and splayed my legs, holding me down with ease. The cold blade of the knife gleamed in his hand as he raised it above my belly.
"No!" I screamed, thrashing against the ties that held me to the steel pillar. "Please don't do this!"
But the man was determined. He began to tear at my jeans, his eyes gleaming with a crazed light. That's when I saw the red light flash from the necklace that I was wearing. And suddenly, a flame ignited on the man's hand.
"What the hell?" he shouted, shaking his hand frantically as the fire spread up his arm. "Get it off me! Get it off me!"
The woman rushed over, fear etched on her face. "What the fu*k?! Where did this come from?”
The woman frantically ran over to the man, her face contorted with fear as she helped put out the flames that were quickly spreading across his arms. "What is happening?" she cried out in disbelief.
"It's the necklace!" the man yelled, his voice filled with pain. "I saw it! You, take the necklace off her! Get it off her and throw it away!" The woman turned to me, desperation in her eyes. "Take it off her! Do it now!"
I was just as terrified as she was. I didn't know what was happening. All I knew was that I had to keep that necklace on at all costs.
As the woman yanked off my necklace and threw it away, I felt a wave of fear wash over me. What was happening? Without the necklace, how would I be able to protect myself? I tried to search for an escape plan but there seemed to be none.
"What do you want from me?" I screamed at them, tears streaming down my face. "Why am I here?"
The woman simply shrugged and replied coldly, "It doesn't matter. Alpha Duncan will be pleased to have you."
I was trembling with fear, my mind racing for a solution. The man approached me, his hand reaching for my neck. I closed my eyes and braced myself for what was to come.
