Did he deliberately say we would sleep there so his former lover could hear? Was he trying to make her jealous?
"It's a small cabin at the back of the mansion," Damian explained. "Come on." He held my hand and we went back to our room.
Damian went straight to the bathroom to wash up. I didn't know whether to be happy that he mentioned the South Cabin for Victoria to hear, implying he had no intention of meeting her there at midnight because we would be together, or to be annoyed because maybe he was using me to make her jealous. Clearly, Victoria still liked Damian, even willing to leave her husband just to be with him again. And why would she want to have a child with another man when she's already married? And
