After ten minutes, I got out of bed and peaked on the balcony to see if Alec had left. When I saw that his car was no longer in front of the gate, I went back into my room and grabbed my phone.
I immediately felt that Damian was mad at me because there wasn't even a single call or text from him to check on me. I didn't beat around the bush and called him right away. But it seemed like he was really mad this time because after three unanswered calls, he finally picked up on the fourth attempt.
