We were all hanging out by the pool after showing our friends the memory and our wings. We played a game of chicken, but Niky and I lost almost immediately so while everyone was still playing, Niky and I were in one of the lounge chairs. The memory of Bastian was slightly triggering for me, but I wasn’t sure why. Thinking back when we met Bastian I had been uneasy. I felt as if I had met him before. I was wondering how I could have met him before but kept coming up blank.
“Maybe it’s not you that has met him before.” Arrow suggested.
“What do you mean?” I asked him.
“Did you forget that you have an original trybrid in your head?” Arrow scoffed.
“Oh yeah!” I mentally facepalmed. “If I reached out to him, do you think he would answer?”
