Cindy took the things he had bought and entered the kitchen but Jack insisted that he was going to be at her service throughout the day.
She finally gave up and allowed him to cook while she went out to call Tim. The latter informed her that he had gotten a matching kidney and his surgery was slated for Tuesday. Cindy was so happy and told him that she wished she could be by his side during that time.
He said it was okay because he knew she was working very hard. He remarked that she was sounding extremely happy and that this mood of hers just made his day.
She happily opened up to him that she had resolved her relationship problems and was having the best time of her life. She promised to tell him everything in detail when she went over to visit him.
