Cindy walked back into the hall and Looked around for Jack. She saw him sitting and cheering for some of the couples on the dance floor and quickly went to sit by him. After a while, he invited her to dance with him again and she obliged him.
When they had finished dancing, Cindy and Jack retired for the night and went back to their room. There was an awkward silence between the both of them. Cindy decided that it was best if she did not share the bed with Jack until she gave him her answer.
"I think I'll take the floor" Cindy told Jack. He smiled and said, "okay have it your way." Jack did not insist that Cindy lie in the bed with him but allowed her to do whatever she wanted so she would feel comfortable.
