Chapter 3Pat spent the weekend grocery shopping and getting to know more of the city. He was impressed by some of the large houses he saw in an area known as Cherry Creek, as well as the ones along Seventh Avenue which wasn’t that far from where he was living—but a hell of a lot ritzier. He was surprised at the number of parks, large and small, promising himself he’d check some of them out when he had time. There were parts of the city that were less appealing, like where they’d found Mr. Conden, but overall he decided he’d made a good choice moving there.
