I woke up with sunlight peeking in through the windows. I was still asleep in Niklaus' room, and in the state I had fallen asleep in, I had forgotten all about shutting the balcony door or the curtains, and even drawing in the blinds. It was last on my mind actually. I assumed it would be very early and the sun would've just risen hours ago if it had woken me up just now. There was no way to know the time– there was no clock in this huge room, and my phone was still not with me- which irked me. I couldn't help but instantly notice a covered plate on the side table and a bottle of water along with some fresh clothes, which made me pause and look around.
