I watched Myles run off with Lily. He literally makes me sick. The plan I had going on for years to have Ben and Lily mated was crumbled. To top it off, they were actual fated mates. Maybe if I had just stayed out of it, they would have ended up together.
I actually had hoped that everything would be okay when I heard him say mate while looking at Lily.
I couldn't help myself from getting excited. I had already had some ceremony ideas. I knew somehow I would have to tell Lily that her mom was dead. But I would wait a few weeks so her and Ben could work things out and be mated fully.
I saw Myles carry Lily bridal style inside, and I knew Ben had taken things too far by the bruise and blood that was on her cheek.
