Chapter 28 We had solved the murder; we had seen justice done, we'd even found out that I really was a witch of some sort. We totally deserved a break. None of us had yet gone out on the porch outside the library on the second floor, the one with all the potted trees and cast iron furniture. The furniture was a bit cold, but once we were settled with blankets and mugs of tea, it was actually really nice. The rays of the setting sun emerged from under the last of the cloud cover, bathing the porch in warmth. It was getting on towards late September. There wouldn't be many warm evenings left.
