There were already several cars parked in Lindsey’s driveway so Tony pulled his truck up along the curb. More out of habit and training than curiosity, as soon as he got out of the truck he took in everything around him. All the houses going back up the street, the kids playing in the yard four houses down, the trees to the right of Lindsey’s house, checking for exits or trails should there be a need to leave in a hurry.
