Later that night, after checking on their kids and taking a bath. Qaletaqa and Treasure walk naked into their bedroom, and he sits down in one of the chairs and pulls her onto his lap. Treasure places her legs across the arms of the chairs. He kisses and caresses her breasts as he pushes his hard shaft inside her core. Treasure is moving up and down while gripping his shoulders and moaning. Qaletaqa wraps his hands around her hair, gently pulls her head back, and kisses her neck. She starts moving faster while he pushes harder inside her core. Qaletaqa stands up while still inside her and lays her on the bed. “My wife," he moans while moving back and forth on her harder and faster. She wraps her legs around his back, moving her body with his. Treasure and Qaletaqa let out loud moans as they reached their climax.
Down the hall, Tatanka is looking at Isabell pacing at the foot of the bed. She didn't like the way that man looked at her sister. Isabell knows something is happening that her parents and grandparents haven't told them. Tatanka keeps telling her they will tell them about it in the morning. He has stopped her several times from knocking on Treasure and Qaletaqa’s door.
She sits at the foot of the bed. “That jerk was lusting over my sister. I have seen that look before. It’s the same look that bastard Howard used to look at me with when he thought no one was looking at him.”
He slides down the bed beside her and wraps his arms around her. “Bell, if that man is looking for trouble, he has found it. Little Horn, your father, mother, grandfather, and I will never let any harm come to Audrey. Yes, I noticed him also, just as Little Horn did. So please do not worry. Now let's get some sleep. I have a feeling tomorrow will be busy. We also need to go to the Gallery in the morning.” Tatanka kisses her cheek.
“Okay,” She mumbles and lays down. Isabell closes her eyes, thinking, “I’ll keep an eye on his ass. Something about him seems familiar. I don’t like it.”
In Little Horn's bedroom, he is lying in bed, thinking about the stranger and he saw the look in his eyes and knows that the man wants his Audrey. He sits up. “I will kill him and anyone else that tries to take my woman from me. The man I saw tonight. Is a dead man. Yes, a dead man.”
The following day everyone is at the table eating breakfast and not talking. Audrey is looking around the table, wondering what is wrong and what have she done. Because every once in a while, one of them looks at her.
Treasure stood up. “Audrey, you can’t go into town alone until your father, grandfather, or I give you permission. When you are there, do not talk to strangers.”
Audrey nods her head. “Yes, Mother,” she looks around the table again, and all eyes are on her.
“This is a precaution for now. Your mother and I need to have a serious talk with a certain asshole.” Qaletaqa looks at Little Horn. “Let us see what his intentions are before you kill him.”
Little Horn nods, thinking, “if his intention is having my Audrey, then he better change his damn intentions quickly.”
Audrey looks at Little Horn. She's about to say something when Treasure hugs her. “When we come back, I’ll tell you what's going on. You know that we don’t have secrets in this family.”
“Oh, I’m supposed to deliver some dresses to Wanda today.” Audrey looks at her mother.
“I’ll do it on my way to the Gallery,” Isabell yells.
Audrey narrows her eyes and thinks, “ this must be bad.”

Kitty is washing the breakfast dishes. She has four of her regular guests and three new guests. She is thinking about Reverend Hawkins and his wife, Ruth. Something about those two is bugging her, but she can’t put her finger on it. She will make it her business to remember to watch them. She could have sworn that she heard him cursing last night through the door. Also, when he left his bible on the sofa, she was about to pick it up and place it on the table. When he stormed into the room and stopped her from touching it. Matthew realized what he had done and said he didn’t want to trouble her about picking up behind him. But Kitty knows that there’s more to it than that.
During breakfast, no one said anything besides when Kitty asked Ruth if they were planning to move there because they only have one church and already have a preacher. Ruth cut her eyes at Matthew, and he cleared his throat. Then Ruth put on a fake smile and said they were only passing through.
HT even looked at the couple funny before he walked out of the dining room and the front door.
She looks at Treasure sitting in front of Qaletaqa on his Spanish Mustang. Ruth's eyes go to the handsome Richard Abbott. She had heard that he was handsome, but she didn’t expect him to be that handsome. Matthew notices how she is staring at Richard, and he doesn't like it. “Don’t get any funny ideas. Remember, you are the wife of a preacher now. You're not one of those whores in a saloon anymore.
"Dear, I was only looking but am very confused. You stated that Richard Abbott owns the stagecoach that we were on yesterday. But that tall Indian said he did." Ruth looks at him.
"Yes, that tall Indian, as you called him, is Richard's son-in-law Qaletaqa. There is no need to tell you about him. His name says it all. Hell, everyone has heard stories about him and how the General went to take his people's land. They say that Qaletaqa took less than thirty warriors with him and killed all but the General. The General didn't know that a reporter was following them, and he wrote that the only reason the General lived was that he had hidden. The coward sent his men in to be slaughtered on purpose so that he could frame Qaletaqa. After the newspaper printed the article, the United States Army released the General from his duties. They never sent anyone else after him and his people.” He looks at Qaletaqa and then at Richard. “So, we must be careful not to give ourselves away. Stay the hell away from that busybody Kitty. That is one nosey ass woman."
Ruth looks at Richard one more time before her attention goes to Treasure and Qaletaqa walking toward them. She starts fidgeting, thinking they are coming to talk to her and her husband.
Qaletaqa and Treasure speak to them and walk past them into the boarding house. Ruth grabs her chest and exhales. Matthew shook his head, thinking .”This crazy woman is going to spoil my plan."
They aren’t aware that Richard, Daniel, and Tom are looking at them. Richard is more interested in the man. He rubs his chin and says something to Daniel and Tom. The two men nod and walk to the Sheriff’s office. Richard sees his daughter and son walk out of Kitty’s. “Damn, I know he didn’t kill the fucker. That was too quick.” He mumbles and walks over and meets them.
After Treasure tells him that Howard's son left walking, Kitty doesn't know where he had gone. Qaletaqa motions for the warriors and the ranchers to spread out and find the young man.
Frank is at his desk in the bank helping Lester, and Edith Mannix fill out a loan paper. The couple moved there a year ago and had terrible luck with their harvest. Lester isn't good at farming. He was a gunslinger until he met Edith, fell in love with her, and hung up his guns. Edith didn’t care that Lester was eighteen years older than she was. She fell in love with him instantly. Lester knew Richard from Georgia, so he came to Willow Creek Falls and asked Richard to give him a shot to live a new life. Richard was happy to see his old friend again and warned him not to cause any problems. Lester has been a good citizen and helps anyone that needs his help. Now he and Edith have two sons. George is three, and Archie is one year old. Edith is four months pregnant now.
Nobel and Patrick are still working at the bank. Nobel will retire next month, and Patrick is Little Horn’s assistant. Noble is training Morning Flower and Zack for the teller positions. Morning Flower is now married to Juh and Zack is courting Rose. Rose is working as a clerk at the title company.
HT had seen Little Horn walk into the bank. He’s wondering why an Indian is going into the bank. When he walks inside it, he never expected to see Little Horn sitting behind a large desk counting out money to anyone. HT stood there for a minute until Little Horn looked up at him and pointed to the empty seat Maryann had just gotten up from.
She looks at him and frowns as she walks out the door thinking, "another dead fool.”
“I was just looking around,” HT mumbles and walks out the door. He runs behind Maryann and grabs her arm.
She turns to look at him. "Take your hands off of me.” She yanks it from him and looks at him up and down.
That caught the attention of everyone that is walking and standing around talking, including the Abbott family.
“Ma’am, I just want to ask you a question. I don’t mean any harm.” He throws his hands up in the air.
“Then ask me but don’t ever grab me again.” Maryann rubs her arm and looks at a furious Joseph walking toward them.
“Sorry again. Can you explain why that Indian is working in the bank and handling all you good people's money?” He’s now looking at Joseph.
Joseph walks between his wife and the man. “Mister, I don’t know you. But one damn thing is for sure I don’t like you grabbing my wife as if she’s yours.”
“Sir, I’m sorry. I’m new to your town and only had a question to ask your wife.” HTJ shook his head.
“Well, I heard your question. Little Horn is there because it’s his family's bank.” Joseph looks at Qaletaqa and Treasure walking up to them. “These good people will take it from here. Word of advice. Mister, don’t touch another woman here unless you’re ready to die. We don't take it kindly to our women being manhandled.” He takes Maryann's hand and walks away.
Treasure looks at HTJ in his eyes. “Just the man we were looking for. Walk with us,” she points in front of her.
HTJ looks at her. “I’m not up for a walk today. Thank you for asking. I believe I’ll head back to Kitty’s.” He makes one step, and Qaletaqa blocks it. He looks up at the tall Indian that is looking down at him.
“My wife wasn’t asking you. She was telling you. Either you do as she says, or I can throw you where she wants you. It’s your choice.” Qaletaqa is still looking down at him.
“This way, right?” HTJ points toward Treasure.
“Yep,” Qaletaqa motions with his head.
Treasure put her hands behind her back. “So, Howie, I take it since your father isn’t here, you will be leaving our beautiful town soon.” She looks at him.
“Actually, I like your town. Even thought about settling down with the right woman.” HTJ smiles and licks his lips.
Qaletaqa grabs his shoulder. “Our women aren’t for you. I do mean all of them. My wife and I suggest you get on your horse and ride the hell out of Willow Creek Falls.”
HTJ looks at him and then at Treasure. ” Just who are you two?”
Treasure turns to look at him. "I’m Treasure Abbott, and this is my husband, Qaletaqa. Willow Creek Falls is our town. As my husband said, none of our women are for you. Trust me when I say you’ll never own land here. We own all the land that is here. Let me be clearer. We don’t want you here. By your lip gesture, I can see that you're like your perverted father. Look what happened to him."
HTJ is still looking at her until Qaletaqa walks in front of him and is very close. "I know that you want our daughter. That will never happen. If I see or hear that you are close to her, I will scalp your ass alive. If you live or die, that will be up to you."
"Little Howie, I believe my husband and I have made ourselves clear. Now you may go to the boarding house. " Treasure rubs Qaletaqa's arm.
"My wife. You know that I will have to kill him." Qaletaqa looks at HTJ walking to the boarding house and talking to himself.
Treasure is also looking at the man ."Yes, I know you will. I can always shoot off his manhood. He sure won't be thinking about our daughter or any other woman again."
Qaletaqa nods his head, "yep, that is one way. I still like my way better. I will enjoy killing him."
