Hanna pov. “Zak.” I said. “I think he texted me again.” I showed him the text I had just received. He took the phone and stared at it, his face void of any emotions. Hamza also checked it out. His eyes widened and he looked at me. I was fuming. I now only feel anger, more than fear. Zak turned to his driver. “We need to get to the police station now.” Zak said. Soon we were on our way to the police station. The police better find and arrest this guy. He has now gone too far. I was gritting my teeth and clenching my fists on my way. He has stalked me, called and texted me using unknown numbers and even almost succeeded in r****g me. All these days I have been living in fear. But when he didn’t think twice before murdering my parents, I no longer feel the fear I used to. I only feel anger. I only feel towering rage I never felt towards anyone else. We were soon at the police station. I took angry steps towards it as soon as I got out of the car with Zak and Hamza following me. As soon as I got in, I asked for the officer who was in charge of our case. I tried my best to keep my voice down. However, I don’t I think I managed to do so. They hurried to attend us. I showed them the text and they checked the number from which I got this message from. Then again, it was a new number. When they tried to contact, it was no longer in reach. I slammed on the table, frustrated. “It is true that all the equipment you have is useless when it comes to a time when you really have to use it.” I hissed at the officer. He sighed. “Ma’am. Please have patience. We are trying our best to locate him. We have tried to trace the messages. The thing is they originate from different locations and different users. We suspect that he is using phones and numbers that are stolen. Most probably, he discards the phone right after using. In that case tracing that phone is useless.” He explained. I was too angry to think rationally. I clenched my fist’s when I felt a hand on my back. “Let them do their work.” I heard Hamza say. I looked at him. Angry tears threatened to fall down from my eyes. I took a deep breath. I stood up from where I was sitting on, and dashed out side. By the time I got out I was fully crying. Tears streamed down uncontrollably. I stood outside the police station and looked around. People were busy with their daily activities. Some of them slowed down a because I was crying. Soon Zak and Hamza came. Zak put his arm around me, trying to give me some comfort. I hugged him and cried. “He will be caught soon.” he said as he caressed my hair. “I sure hope so.” I replied. “Lets go and have some coffee?” Hamza suggested. I looked at him and sighed. “I guess.” “There is a new place we can have coffee near by. It is in walking distance. We can go there if you don’t mind.” Zak said. I shrugged. “Sure. Let’s go.” I didn’t have anything better to do. So why not have coffee with the only family I have left? We walked to the place. We didn’t talk much. We really don’t have much to say. My parents' untimely death has shaken us to the core. Soon we were sitting in the coffee shop. I really didn’t feel like having anything. But Hamza placed an order for me and I ended up having coffee and a piece of chocolate cake. To tell the truth, it did ease me to some extent. “You like it?” Hamza asked. I nodded with a smile. “I knew you would. When you would stress over anything chocolate cakes always made you feel better.” He said. Zak smiled. “Now I know what to give her when she is stressed. Or if she ever gets angry with me I’ll run towards the cake shop to buy her a whole chocolate cake.” I chuckled. I knew what they were trying to do. They were trying to make me laugh. “Idiots” I said. But I couldn’t help smile a little. “Therrrrrrre is her smile.” Hamza said. We laughed a little. But soon my smile faltered. It just didn’t feel right. Hamza most probably noticed. “You know Hanna. I too am devastated. But mom and dad wouldn’t want us to mourn for them for the rest of our lives. I will get on with my life. But I will fight for them too. And I need you in this with me.” I sighed. He was right. I took his hand in mind. And smiled at him. “Let’s do this.” I said. Zak put his hand over ours. “We will do this.” I smiled and looked at him. I have the support I will ever need. “I’m glad I came here with you guys.” I told them honestly. They gave me a satisfying smile. “So let’s go. The car is parked near the police station. We will have to walk back.” Zak said. We got up from the chair and left the coffee shop after paying the bill. As we walked, we talked about random things. I suddenly remembered that Hamza must have missed his exams to come here. “What about your exams?” I asked him. “Oh I received a mail today from our department. My request for a resit was accepted since they considered my situation.” He replied. “I had requested for it before I came.” “Thanks for coming.” I said thankfully. “I don’t know what I would have done without you.” “You have Zak. He is a good guy.” He said. I smiled. “Yes. Why else would I marry him?” I giggled. “But still I need my elder brother.” Just then my phone rang. It was an unknown number. I looked at my boys. They looked at the phone and then at me. They gestured me to pick the phone up. I took a deep breath before answering it. “Hello?” I said, my heart racing. “Hello princess. You look great.” My eyes widened. It was him. My breathing hitched and I felt as if I would throw up everything I just had. “I saw you at a coffee shop. How I wished that I was the spoon in your hand.” He laughed on the other end. This guy is sick. I looked at the police station which was just a short distance away. I didn’t cut the call and walked towards the station as fast as I could. “What do you want from me?” I questioned gasping for breath. “Oh princess. I want you. I want every inch of you. I want you to be mine forever.” He replied. “You are sick” I screamed in to the phone. While walking towards the police desk. I gestured to them so that they would understand that the stalker was on the phone with me. They hurried to do what they had to trace the signal. “Do you think so princess. But I think you are the hottest woman I have seen. I love the way you boobs jingle when you walk. I wish I could hold them in my hands.” I almost gagged. I would have cut this call already if I was not asked to stay on the call so that the police could trace him easily. “You are the most disgusting human.” I spat. “Princess. I don’t think so. I just am trying to get what I want. And what I want is you.” The officers came out and passed a piece of paper towards me. It contained a note asking me to stay on the phone for as long as I could. They have traced him and they are now on their way to arrest him. That note calmed me down a bit. I just had to keep him on the phone. “You want me? Why?” I asked, knowing for sure I wouldn’t enjoy listening to his answer. “You want to know princess?” he answered dropping his voice to a lower tone. I gulped. “I want to tie you up and f**k you all night long. You make me so hard princess” he chuckled I closed my eyes and bit my lips. I so am not enjoying this. “But why me?” I pushed him further. “You...have captured my heart. You are all I see when I close my eyes and in my dreams. I just want to enjoy your sexy body. I want to f**k you until you cannot walk anymore. If you agree to this I promise it won’t hurt much. But if you don’t.....well..... let’s say I don’t like to let go of something I really want.” He said. I flinched at what I had just heard. He was willing to take me by force if I don’t give in. “s**t!” I heard him curse. And then he cut the call. I don’t know what just happened. Perhaps the police caught up with him. I looked at my brother and Zak. We decided to wait for any news from them. All three of us waited in anticipation. The minutes ticked by. Finally the police came back. I looked around. They didn't get him? “Where is he?” I asked. They looked at each other. “He got away.” Hamza slammed his fist on the desk. “Damn it.” He cursed. Zak too was irritated. “Why the hell did he manage to get away? We were so close” he questioned. “We traced the signal to an apartment building. But when we got there he was gone. However we did manage to get the phone he called from.” The officer replied. I stared at them with anger. I didn’t want to say anything. I covered my mouth and looked away. By now I was trembling in anger. We were so close. The officers looked at us and then at each other. The officer in charge cleared his throat. “Ma’am, if he calls again. Do let us know. We have to lure him some where. Perhaps we have to use a bait.” He said. “What exactly are you saying?” Hamza asked angrily. “Do you expect us to use Hanna as a bait?” Zak asked anger radiating from him. I looked at them wide eyed. Is that what I have to do? “I’ll do it.” I said before anyone else said anything. Heads turned towards me. “What?” Zak and Hamza asked in unison. “If that is what I have to do to catch him, I will do it.” I said. I will do what I must.
