Chapter Twelve
I take one last walk through my apartment before leaving it forever. My things are packed in boxes, which are stacked around piles of furniture on the living room floor. My essentials are going straight to New York... everything else is going to an Austin storage unit, and I'll have it shipped once I find a rental in the city.
Leaving the bulk of my things in Texas was Chase's idea. He pointed out that storage units, along with everything else, are four times more expensive in New York.
