Everything that was going on with Jake was so confusing. It was almost to the point that I was anticipating his rejection. I don’t think I would be too upset either, not because I did not care for him, but only that it made no sense for a guy with so much ahead of him to love someone like me.
After the conversation that took place with Jake inside his room, I decided to try and go for a run, when I ran into someone that seemed somewhat familiar to me. She would hang around Jake a bit. My mind began to go off on its own, thinking if she and he have ever hooked up. Midnight was sharpening her claws from just the mere thought of it.
