Chapter 6 Cosmo

I am on cloud nine after the text message conversation with my mate. He agreed to have dinner with me. I couldn’t be more excited. I don’t know much about mates since I hadn’t grown up around my kind. But I feel how important he is. My dragon keeps wiggling around in my head at just the thought of him. I keep feeling what has to be his emotions coming from our mate bond. His nervousness and confusion. Maybe a bit of excitement. Last night I could have sworn I felt his arousal and release. Like a echo of what he felt. I would have been livid if I hadn’t also felt that he was alone.

After a quick shower I get dressed in my old jeans and plain white t-shirt. My black leather jacket and heavy worn biker boots complete my look. This is me so my mate will have to take me as I am. Just as I was about to head out to my motorcycle to get some breakfast my cell phone rings. "Cosmo here." "Hey Cosmo it's Eva. Im calling because I have great news! your offer was accepted on both properties! I will need you to come on down to the office and get some paperwork signed." she informs me. "Thats great news. I can be there right after breakfast. Quick question. how long till Its mine and I can start renovations?" "Once we the paperwork is signed and p*****t set up. Everything should be done with a week, maybe two." "Perfect. I'll see you in about an hour or so." "See you then Cosmo."

I decide to swing by the dinner Poe's again since the food was so good. Luckily it doesn't take long to get there because I am starving. The same booth I shared with my mate is empty so I confiscate it. I have the same waitress that flirted with my mate. Thankfully she just took my order of steak and eggs. with a side of bacon of corse. Then she went about her other duties. I lean back in my booth and people watch while I sip my coffee.

Just as my food is set in front of me my cell phone starts vibrating in my pocket. Pulling it out I see its my buddy Zephyr. We went through foster care together for awhile. I haven't seen him in awhile. But generally we get together every few months if we end up within a couple of hours of each other on our travels. "Hey Zep! It's been to long." I say as I answer the call. "Hey brother! it really has. I've just been busy honestly. where are you currently? I'm ready for something different. To be honest with you brother. I think I may be ready to lay some roots." he tells me. "I'm currently in a little town called Solace. It is in Minnesota." I answer. "Minnesota? they have some cold winters up there. Mine some company on your trip?" "Brother you know you are always welcome to join me. you can stay as long as you like. I'm signing papers on a property later today. I can definitely use the help for renovations. Plus no one turns a wrench like you." I tell him honestly. "No s**t? you opening a shop? yeah brother I think I'm interested." he says excitedly. "When do you think you can get here?" "Well I have plans today with the lovely lady i've been spending my time with. She'll be sad to see me go no doubt. But I should be able to get on the road tomorrow morning. It should take about two days to get there." I can't help the chuckle. he's always been a man w***e. "That works for me. I have some other news as well but it will have to wait till you get here." "See you then brother." It was fantastic to hear from Zep.

I get to work on clearing my plate of my now cold breakfast. It is still delicious. After paying my ticket for my meal. I head out of the restaurant to my bike. Time to go to Eva's office to sign some papers. I crank up my bike and hit the road. I hope my mate approves of the property. I can't wait to show it to him. I park and pull my helmet off. Then pull my hair up in a knot. Thankful I remembered to grab my hair. Walking into the office I see a secretary sitting at a desk as soon as you walk in. "Hi I have an appointment with Eva." The chick smile grows as she looks me up and down. Then she pulls her shirt down a bit while pushing her t**s up. " of corse. Can I have you name sir?" she purrs. "My names Cosmo Wixx. She knows I'm coming." I say gruffly. Why do some women do this. Even if I was interested that would turn me off. She types on her computer and then picks up her phone "Yes Eva I have a Mr Cosmo Wixx here for an appointment to see you. Yes I will send him right in." she bats her eyelashes at me. "Go on right through that door Mr. Wixx. Just let me know if there's anything I can do for you sir. anything at all." "Thank you. But I'm good and I'm taken."I let her know. she sighs dramatically "All the good ones are.”

It doesn't take long to sign all the paperwork and get the transfer for p*****t setup. Eva makes copies of everything for my records. we shake hands and she walks me out. "I'll give you a call once everything has been filled and processed. you will have a bit more paperwork when thats done and ill have the keys for you." "If I want to show someone the property or take a better look at the grounds am I able." "yes that wouldn't be a problem at this stage. Just don't go into the building itself until you take possession." "Sounds great. Thank you Eva."

I decide my dragon needs out. I need to stretch my wings out. So i head to the property I’m buying because I’ll be able to change into my dragon form without being seen. Lots of space to roam. I pull my hair tie out and put my helmet on. Then I hit the road. I love cruising on my bike. It is the closest thing to flying in my dragon form there is. I get to my new property much quicker then I probably should have. But I love the speed.

I pull in and park right in front of the building. I set my helmet and leather jacket in the saddle bags on my bike. Then take off into my 20 acres of wooded area. Its so peaceful here. I can't wait to take my mate here to play in our shifted forms. When I come across a empty clearing I strip down naked so I won't shred my clothing. I learned that the hard way on my first shift. I close my eyes and relax my body. I take a deep breath and just release everything. My bones crack and bend. My skin morphs and grows scales. My dragon is a deep midnight purple color that has a slight shimmer to it.

Once my shift is complete I stretch my wings out as far as they can go. It feels good. Like waking from a heavy sleep. I allow my Dragon to sniff around his new territory for awhile. Just exploring and marking his land so that other predators will know its off limits to them now. Then we go back to the clearing and lift off. once we clear the tree tops we use our magic to make sure we can't be seen. It Is not being invisible per se. But it Is bending the light so we can't be seen. It is a good power to have. We fly around our territory getting a feel for it. This will make a great home. We are up in the air for a few hours before we have to come down. After shifting back to my human skin I pull my close on. Then head back to my bike. I need to make it back to my hotel room so I can shower and get ready for my date.

It doesn't take me long to get back to my room and shower. I even blow dry my hair. I always travel light so I don't have many options for clothing. I pull on some fresh worn jeans and a deep purple v-neck shirt. It is almost the color of my dragons scales so he grunts in approval. My jacket and boots get added. I pull out my phone to shoot Axel a text.

Cosmo: Can I pick you up? or do you want to meet me?

Axel: I'll meet you. Theres a great Mexican place called The 3 Tacos over in Frankfort. If that works for you?

Cosmo: I love tacos so it does. an Hour work for you?

Axel:yeah it does

Cosmo: See you there my mate

Going to Frankfort works out perfectly because they have a bike apparel shop that I had seen. I need to pick up a helmet for my mate. He’s going to need it for when he rides with me. I have to keep my mate safe. I have just enough time to run my errand before meeting Axel for tacos.

When I get to the apparel shop I decide on a helmet. I also grab a dark grey leather jacket that I think will look great on him as well as keep him save. Then I head over to The 3 Tacos.

Cosmo: I’m here

Axel: I’ll meet you by the front door. Just locking up my Jeep.

I look up and see him getting out of a jeep on the far side of the lot. He locks up and then jogs over to me. He steps up till the front of our boots touch. “Hey Cosmo.” I smirk “hi mate.” He bites his bottom lip and his eyes drift down to my lips. “I want to try something. if that’s ok with you?” I nod my agreement wondering what he’s going to do. He takes a deep breath and releases it. Then he leans forward and presses his plump lips against mine. He’s gentle until I lick his bottom lip. Then with a growl his tongue is pushing into my mouth. It’s a battle of tongues after that. I reach my arm out grabbing him around his waist and pulling him to me. My other hand goes to his neck and hair. It’s the best kiss I have ever experienced in my entire life. I never want it to end.

After what feels like hours but has to be minutes we finally have to come up for air. We’re both breathing heavy. I feel his hard thick erection pressed against mine. It takes everything in me not to grind against him to get some relief. “Well that worked.” He nods to himself. Then he’s kissing me again. At this I walk him backwards until his back is against the building. My lips leave his to make their way down his throat. The moan that leaves his mouth is like music to my ears. I want more. But we are outside of a restaurant and I refuse to let our first time be against a building. So after one more nip to my mates throat. I pull back from him and step back. “Mate if we don’t stop I’ll have you stripped and marked out here and my dragon will not like the possibility of anyone seeing you like that but me.” His eyes widen and he looks around like he just realized where we were. “But make no mistake I want you.” I tell him. “Me too.” He agrees. We take a few minutes to calm our bodies down. Then I open the door for my mate to enter the restaurant. We have a date to enjoy.
