Bella's POV
After crying my eyes out, I decided to brace up and go see Alpha Darin, just to be sure he was doing all right. Going back into the hospital, I located his room, but the two guards at the door wouldn’t let me in at the command of Alpha Darwin, who was still inside. Swallowing my pain, I took a seat on the bench and decided to wait for him to come out. I needed to plead with him for him to forgive me.
“Olivia?” I called out for my wolf, who had been oddly silent. “Please talk to me, say something, yell at me, scold me, but don’t shut yourself away from me,” I pleaded. “I need you, Olivia. I need someone to talk to. Please say something,” I begged desperately, but she kept silent as if she never existed. Tears stood in my eyes, but I held them back and composed myself.
