Chapter Eighteen

I wake up in to an unfamiliar smell. Pine. I notice before I open my eyes that I am not in my own bed. My sheets at home are thick. They smell of my favorite detergent, lavender. The sheets tucked around me are silkier and smell of him.  The wolf-man.  My. Mate.  My eyes shoot open and I sit up fluidly, ready to face my abductor. Then, a wave of vertigo hits me and I press my palms into my forehead, hoping to ease the pain with pressure.  I feel a hand on my shoulder, "You're safe." I whirl on my attacker. Gripping their forearm in my fingers and tucking it under my arm, ready to shatter their elbow with just a flick of my wrist.  "Ow! Jesus- s**t!" A voice I don't recognize. I press harder.  "Hanna! Don't." Leon.  I twist around, keeping the arm within my steady grip to see Leon
