Episode 6
Beatrice's pov:
He looked so overjoyed when I gave him the job and that made me happy as well. When he covered his face with his palm, I stared at his dark curly hair, makes we wanna touch it to feel how soft it was.
I just love the way he behaves, he's so calm and coordinated and his cute face, making him look really attractive, like a model.
"Are you alright?" I asked calmly with a warm smile and he just sniffed before raising up his head a little. He was...
Crying?!
Awwn
He wiped his tears immediately before looking at me shyly and I guess he felt embarrassed.
"I'm fine Ma'am... I'm just...so happy, thank you so much" he muffled and I smiled sweetly.
"You're welcome. With your graphic designs as well, you could probably assist us with our movie graphics. That would be your department for now then maybe after this month ends, I'll make a department for Comics only." I said
"No problem ma'am" he replied with a bow not looking at me in the eyes anymore.
I really wanted him to look at me but he kept staring down.
"Your work starts now. Your department is at the fifth floor" I said and he finally looked.
"Today?" He asked and I nodded, trying to stiffen up. I wouldn't want to smile too much around him so that he wouldn't take me for granted.
"Alright Ma'am" he replied and then stood up from his sit. He backed his bag and bowed once more before leaving.
I sighed the moment he left and I rubbed my forehead, thinking of what else to do then my phone started ringing...
It was Westley
_my ex boyfriend, We broke up yesterday.
I frowned and ignored the call but he kept calling me then I fumed before picking up.
"What is it?" I rasped at him and he scoffed.
"Calm down okay...I told your Mum that you broke up with me and she was furious." He said breezily and I frowned.
"So?"
"She said we should meet her at home by evening" he said and my eyebrows arched deeper.
Like seriously?
"You wouldn't want to disobey your mum's order..."
"Listen Wesley. I don't want to have anything to do with you. I'm done and done for real this time. Reporting me to my mum won't change anything" I said plainly and he chuckled.
"Do you realise that we are engaged and breaking up just like that wouldn't be that easy" he said and I knew he had a smirk on his face at the moment but he can't threaten me.
"**** Off" I said and disconnected before flinging my phone to one side of the table with a huff.
I rubbed my face with my palm before staring into space. What have I gotten myself into?
*I'm fed up with your attitude Wesley, you are too full of yourself. You are a liar and a cheat*
*what makes you thinks so?*
*You think I don't know what you do at your hotel? You know what? I'm done explaining things to you and I don't think I can continue with this relationship any longer*
I sighed heavily and leaned backwards on my chair, staring at the ceiling feeling so down.
What do I do with Wesley now?
My phone began to ring again and I picked up angrily.
"Didn't I made it clear last time that you should leave me alone" I yelled angrily.
"Beatrice!" And my eyes widened...
"Oh Mum...Hi" I replied nervously before rubbing my neck.
"We need to talk. Meet me at home by noon unfailingly" she said with so much authority and I dare not disobey her. She even hung up before I could reply.
"Oh God. I thought he said evening" I mumbled to myself.

Jimmie's pov:
I walked into my department and walked to my desk quietly.
It was so incredible.
I couldn't believe that I was working now and I was made to understand that, I would be paid $500,000 every month.
Gosh that's a lot...half a million.
I can't wait to tell Leo about it.
Mum is going to be so proud...wait...Urgh! Why am I even thinking about her right now?
I sighed and sat on my chair then I looked around me. Everything was neatly arranged in here and everyone seemed busy.
Guess I can't introduce myself yet.
I noticed that there was a laptop, a desktop, a tab and some other gadgets on the table... wait
Are all these for me?...
"For the company you i***t" my subconscious mind said to me and I chuckled.
"Hello!"
Jesus! I heard my chest in fear before looking up to the person then she chuckled.
"Sorry I startled you" she said and I just feigned a smile.
"You're Jimmie Rodgers right?" She asked with a sweet smile and I think I remember her now.
"Yeah and you are Samantha..."
"Louis" she replied before sitting on my desk then I gulped down the saliva on my throat.
"It's nice speaking with you" she said
"Same here" I replied then we were silent for a while and it felt awkward.
I didn't know what to talk about though but just when I was thinking of saying something she spoke.
"Uhm do you realize you have a huge stain on your shirt?" She asked and I folded my lips then she chuckled.
"It was the cab I came with" I replied and she muttered an 'O'
"Would you like some help?" She asked surprisingly and I raised my head to look at her then she smiled at me.
"I could take you to the washroom and the stains would be out before you know it" she said
"Oh really? Thank you" I appreciated her and she laughed lightly.
"Come on it's nothing. Follow me" she said and I stood up to follow her.

She took him to a room and closed the door. There were washing machines inside and it was quiet weird to Jimmie.
"Why are there washing machines?" Jimmie asked out of curiosity.
"For those who are filming most especially" she replied and went to get soap.
Jimmie took off his shirt exposing just his bare well built body and when she turned to look at him, she gasped.
The soap slipped from her hand and he raised his eyes to look at her.
"Oh uhm... I'm...I'm sorry" she muttered feeling embarrassed before bending down to pick the soap.
Why was she apologizing?
She thought.
She collected his shirt timidly and turned away from him immediately. Jimmie just smiled and watched her every move. After she washed his shirt, she put it into the spin to dry and they were silent again.
"So...how long have you been working here?" He asked and she turned to look at him.
"Oh for three years now" she replied
"That's really long" he replied and she nodded with a smile but still dodging every eye contact they made.
"Not long enough though" she replied and he chuckled.
"But you could still teach me some stuffs about the company right?" He asked and she chuckled.
"Of course during lunch" she replied with a wink then she removed his shirt. She spread it in the air to have a good look at it.
"You see... good as new" she said and Jimmie smiled before taking it from her.
"Thank you very much for the help. At least I can stop backing my bag now" he muttered and she laughed.
Jimmie went back to his desk and he was given a work to do. He had a good knowledge about it so it was an easy one for him to do. Close to twelve, he sighted Beatrice leaving the company, and he wondered were she would be heading to this early.

Beatrice pov:
I got down from the car when my chauffeur packed at the garage. I removed my sunshades before walking towards the entrance of the house.
Our gardener greeted me respectfully and I just waved at him without saying a word.
I wasn't in the mood at the moment. All I thought of was what Mum was about to say to me.
No one was at the porch so I headed into the living room instead. I scanned the living room and I found her sitting on the chair with a maid serving her some tea. I took in a deep breath and walked to her.
"Welcome home Miss Beatrice" the maid bowed before excusing us.
"Good day Mother" I said and she just took her time to sip from her small cup, She didn't even gesture me to sit down. I stood still waiting for her response then she placed the cup of the saucer quietly.
One thing with my Mum's silence is...you don't know what's coming.
"Won't you explain yourself?" She asked and I rolled my eyes mentally.
"I don't want to be with Wesley anymore and that's it" I huffed and she frowned.
"Have you lost it? You both are engaged so what trash is coming out from your mouth" she rasped at me and I just kept mute.
"Whatever happened to the both of you ..I don't care. You are getting married to him. His parent are coming this evening..."
"That can never be possible. You can't decide things for me mother like I'm a child" I almost raised my voice at her and she c****d her eyebrows at me then I just folded my arms.
"Mind your volume Bea. What lame reason do you have not to marry Wesley?" She asked
"He's a liar, too pompous, arrogant and worst of all, he's cheating on me" I rasped but the next thing she said was...
"So?" ...with a scoff
I puzzled and stared at her unbelievably.
"What do you mean by so?" I asked and she just shrugged her shoulders.
"That's still a lame reason" she replied with no emotions and I furrowed my eyebrows at her.
"That's still a lame rea...are you for real Mum? My fiance is cheating on me and you have nothing to say about it? Do I really mean anything to you? Do you even care about my feelings? Do you even love me?" I rasped at her uncontrollably and she just sipped from tea like she wasn't listening to me then I fumed...
"Are you even my Mother?!" I forced out angrily and she dropped her cup on the saucer loudly.
She kept quiet for a few seconds then she closed her eyes.
"Beatrice" she called out calmly and I just stared at her feeling the rage boiling up.
"Get out"
