Episode 9
Beatrice's pov:
"Jimmie" I whispered
"What?"
"Ah I mean I'll think about it" I quickly said then she sighed.
"Fine but if you're going to think, you better think fast. I have somewhere to be. Take care" she pecked my cheek and left then I sighed heavily.
I fell back on the ceiling and thought of Jimmie.
Wait...why am I thinking of him now? Or could he possibly help me?
I sat upright and thought deeply. I don't really know him and besides, he's my worker but I like seeing his face.
I chuckled and stared into space then my phone began to ring.
Wesley!
I hissed and ignored the call, laying on the bed, I wondered what would happen after two months.
If Jimmie refuses, who else can I ask?

Lora sat down close to the window in her dark room. The only thing that lightened up the room a bit, was the moonlight that reflected into the room.
Why was she doing this?
No matter what she does, her action towards her daughter wasn't still good enough. She's always too harsh.
She can't control it.
*We don't even have a good Mother and daughter relationship*
*The feelings are not there*
*They are dead!!!*
She gripped her robe tightly and sniffed as tears rolled down her cheek.
Am I caused?
My children hate me.
There was a knock on the door but she just ignored it.
"Ma'am your tea" a maid said from outside.
"I don't want it" she rasped angrily and she heard the retreating steps of the maid.
She wiped her tears and continued to stare out of the window
Will Xander really come back like he promised?
The last quarrel they had, he left and refused to come back home for over two years now. Everyone felt it was a business trip but only her understood what really happened.
She was always the cause of everything.
She sighed heavily and just focused on the moon solemnly.
"Where has time gone?" She asked herself.

Samantha's pov:
"I'm home" I said as I walked into the warm house.
Gosh it was kinda cold outside.
"Hey honey welcome home" Amelia came out of the kitchen with a bowl of soup. She placed it carefully on the dinning table and went back into the kitchen to get the second bowl as I removed my shoes.
"What are you making?" I asked with a smile and walked to where she was.
"Well I just made chicken soup for the both of us..." Before she could even finish her sentence, I already dug into the bowl.
"Mmm... delicious" I said
"Won't you freshen up first?" She asked with her hand on her waist.
"I'm so hungry" I replied and continued drinking the soup then she chuckled.
"How was work today, you came a bit late than normal. You had a lot of work?" She asked
"Not really. I made a new friend" I replied with a smile and her face beamed.
"Wow...is it a guy?" She asked and clasped her palm together expectantly.
"How did you know that?" I asked in return with my brows c****d and she laughed lightly.
"I just asked" she answered
"Well yes it's a guy." I replied
"A very cute guy?" She asked immediately and my cheeks flushed.
"Yes? Wait why are you so..."
"Because this is the first time you are ever talking about a guy and it sounds exciting coming from you" she jibbed in and I just smiled.
"So has he asked you out yet?" She asked and I furrowed my eyebrows in disgust.
"Are you crazy? We are just friends" I frowned and she chuckled.
"Well I hope it turns out positive" she winked at me and I rolled my eyes.
"So what's his name?" She asked
"Jimmie"
"Sounds really cute" she mumbled and sat down on chair opposite me while I just continue eating.
"Guess what?" She asked and I raised my head to look at her.
"What?" Then she showed me her fingers and I narrowed my eyes a bit to stare at them.
There was a diamond ring on her finger and I c****d my eyebrows at her.
"You bought a ring for yourself?" I asked awkwardly and sipped the soup my spoon making a slurpy sound as I did.
"No silly. Mike proposed to me" she replied grining from ear to ear and I almost choked.
I started coughing, patting my chest at the same time, looking for water.
"Oh goodness are you okay?" She asked and offered me a glass of water. I drank the whole glass before clearing my throat then I rubbed my forehead.
"I'm fine" I mumbled and she gave a sigh of relief.
"Is it because I mentioned Mike?" She asked with a frown and I hissed.
"I already told you, I don't like that Guy" I replied
"But I love him and he proposed to me" she pouted
"Did you say yes?" I asked
"Why else would I have the ring on my finger" she replied breezily and I dropped my spoon.
"F*ck....Amelia!"
"What?!"
"What is wrong with you? Why are you getting married to Mike? I've told you to stay away from that guy" I rasped.
"Why are you against our marriage?" She asked confusingly.
"Because I don't like him" I replied sternly with a cold expression
"But I love Mike" she replied
"You love Mike? Are you listening to yourself? You love a drunkard? A smoker and drug addict?!" I banged my palms on the table loudly and she shook a little bit.
"He was all those things before but Mike is a changed person now and you can't just judge him because of his past. Why can't you just give him a chance Sam?" She asked sadly and I just sighed before looking away.
"You know what? I don't want to have this discussion anymore. Do whatever you want" I said and stood up to the room.

I came out of the bathroom put on nightie then I thought of texting Jimmie but I surprisingly saw a message from him already and I smiled.
"Are you home already?" He wrote and I smirked before texting back.
"Yeah, you are still up?" I replied and dropped my phone on the bed then I heard a knock on my door.
"Sam are you still awake?" Amelia asked from outside and I sighed.
"Come in" I groaned then she opened the door quietly and stuck in her head.
"Hey can we talk?" She asked and I nodded simply then she walked into the room fully. She sat down next to me and I just stared away.
"Listen Uhm about Mike..." She started and I sighed.
"I know that you don't like him but I really love him so much. I already told Mum and Dad about him and they were so happy to hear that I was finally getting married but you..." She paused and sighed then I looked at her.
"You are the only one left to bless this relationship. I know that you are just trying to protect me and also being a nice younger sister but at least think of my happiness. Don't you want me to be happy?" She asked and I sighed.
"You can't be happy with Mike. How sure are you that he has really changed? What if he's just pretending?" I asked and she smiled ruefully.
"Of course not, he gave his life to Christ" she whispered the last part and I chuckled then she pulled my cheek playfully.
"All I'm saying is... he's a good man now. Trust me" she said and placed her palm on my cheek then I stared down.
"Is this what you really want?" I asked and she smiled before nodding.
"Alright...you can go ahead" I shrugged and she arched her brows.
"Is that a yes?" She asked curiously and I nodded.
"Thank you so much" she smiled and pulled me to a hug but I wasn't really satisfied with everything.
Is she really doing the right thing?
