“What are you doing here?”
Rose got startled and turned back to see Lady Oak staring angrily at her.
“Give that thing here…And go to your bed, your slippers are beneath it,” Lady Oak hurriedly said and snatched the letter from Rose’s hand.
“Violet is a princess?” Rose repeated in a daze as she moved aside for Lady Oak to close the wardrobe.
“Didn’t you hear me, Rose? I said take your slippers that are beneath your bed and leave,” Lady Oak changed the tone of her voice.
