The Next Day...
I open my eyes feeling great. Actually, better than great. I feel perfect. My mate is in my bed in my arms, sleeping. Last night I had to meet with Colton, Axel, and Sarah after my little mate was asleep. We needed to talk about the collar, the other girls we rescued, and the meeting with the King that is coming up. Normally, it is the kind of meeting a Luna would be in, but she had a big day, plus I know she isn't ready for that right now. There is a lot I need to work on with her before she is ready. Later today, I will find a tutor to teach her how to read. She needs to know the basics about how to survive, like being able to read warning signs on things.
