8 1/2 Months Later...
“The western border now has round-the-clock patrol in case the rogue wants to come back. We are preparing a small funeral service for the pack member the rogue took by surprise.” Cole informs me as I sit in my office behind my desk looking at the window seat that my little mate liked to sit at and lookout. Axel and Colton have been handling a lot of pack business for me. Honestly, the only reason why I’m here is that I use work as a distraction sometimes so I don’t go mad because I told Sarah I’d be here for while she was pregnant. But she had her baby a couple of months back. She’s actually here with it in my office right now. I don’t know why she is here or brought it, she’s just sitting in the corner looking at it sleep.
