Just as I was done with the phone call with my sister there was a knock on the bedroom door, for a moment I thought that he was back but then Lily’s soft voice filtered through, “Sweet?”
Despite myself I smiled, she was such a sweetheart. “Yes, please come in.” I called out to her, but it was a second later that I realised that I was naked from waist down. I quickly grabbed the sheet and pulled it over my lap.
“What are you doing in the bed, Gabe told me that you were awake, come on, breakfast is ready and you need flesh on your bones.” She continued on as she grabbed the corner of the sheet and started pulling it away. “I can't have you starving under my roof.”
