CHAPTER THIRTEEN Dinner at Pacifica was a hundred times better than Caleb expected. It wasn’t the mouthwatering Northwest cuisine from the award-winning chef or the all-star service from the waiter dressed in black. It wasn’t the romantic atmosphere with flickering votive candles and fresh flowers atop a linen-covered table for two. It was the woman sitting across from him who made the night memorable. He squeezed Becca’s hand. “Have I told you how stunning you look tonight?” Her smile meant only for him added a foot to his height. “About ten times.
