Amanda was getting her laptop ready for the lecture when she felt someone was watching her. Looking up, she saw the professor walking in.
Shawn.
‘How did I get him for two classes?’ She wondered, knowing full well that it wasn’t unheard of. She made eye contact back with him and he gave her a smile. It was warm and friendly. His dark brown hair was down around his shoulders, his beard stubble was still of the most perfect length. He was wearing a white dress shirt and grey dress pants. The sleeves of the shirt rolled up. His strong, muscular arms poking out, and a tattoo barely showing on his left arm.
“He’s f*****g beautiful eh?” A soft voice spoke up.
Amanda turned to the beautiful blonde girl who had sat down beside her. “He’s lovely to watch,” Amanda grinned with a giggle.
The girl extended her hand. “I’m Lucy,” she said with a smile. Her long white blonde hair and pale complexion was in sharp contrast to her blood red lips.
“Amanda,” Amanda smiled at her warmly and she reciprocated.
“Are you a crim major too?” Lucy asked.
Amanda shook her head. “No, I’m social work. But this is one of my electives,” she told her.
Lucy nodded. “It’s fascinating stuff,” she agreed. “I’m hoping to get into profiling. Maybe even with the FBI,” she smiled.
Amanda had a feeling that Lucy would have no problems getting anything she wanted. Her long slender legs were crossed elegantly and she dangled her dark red stiletto off the end. Amanda was just impressed that she could wear stilettos as a regular thing. As much as Amanda loved shoes, she had limits. Stilettos for school was one of those limits.
“Good afternoon, I’m Shawn and I’m going to take you on this journey through crime, serial killers, and all things criminology,” he smiled at them. “We will get into the “why” - what compels people to commit crimes? What about them makes them different from someone who doesn’t commit heinous crimes, and of course we will look at some famous cases throughout history,” he turned to the projection scream where an image of the suspected Jack the Ripper from England appeared.
“I want to keep this class open for discussions, for class participation and for questions,” he continued. “There will be a lot of group work so make sure you’re choosing your seat mates wisely,” he grinned at Amanda.
The class went on and Amanda truly found herself immersed in his lecture. Her fingers were typing furiously as she tried to keep up. She realized what made Shawn so sexy. On top of his looks, he was brilliant and he was a captivating speaker. He was tall but not huge however he commanded a room. He oozed s*x appeal and confidence. He held the attention of women who wanted to f**k him and men who wanted to be him. He was definitely the full package.
“It got warm in here,” Lucy gave Amanda a wink as she fanned herself at the end of class.
Amanda couldn’t help but agree. She had found her mind wandering with thoughts of Shawn on her body, between her legs, burying his face in between her breasts. But yet, she also was able to hear him. To focus on his lecture. He was incredible. Glancing around the room at the longing looks on the female students faces as they packed up, she could tell she wasn’t the only one who felt this way.
“Nice meeting you Amanda,” Lucy smiled, a smile so genuine Amanda couldn’t help but smile back.
“It was really nice to meet you too,” she smiled back at her.
Lucy left the classroom and Amanda quickly loaded her laptop in her bag and grabbed her textbook.
“Was it good for you Princess?” Shawn asked her as she headed down the stairs to leave the small class.
“You’re good Shawn,” she smiled at him. His eyes held hers. Such intensity and she couldn’t help but feel he was devouring her with his eyes.
His eyes lingered down to her breasts again, staring at them before he spoke. “That’s an interesting pendent you have there,” he pointed out.
Amanda blushed, holding the pendent tightly to her chest. “Family heirloom,” she told him nervously.
He just nodded. “See you tomorrow unless you’re in my next class?” He asked.
“What is it?” Amanda asked him, unsure if she could handle another class with him.
“Gender and sexuality,” he responded.
Amanda smiled and shook her head. “Not that one but I’m sure it will be a good one,” she told him as she headed out the door, before his dark eyes could stare into hers any longer.
She quickly ran down the hall. She had a bit of time before her next class. Substance use and harm reduction. She had opted for it as an elective because there were many rumours about the substance use and alcohol use amongst the rogues in their area. She wanted to be best prepared to support them by meeting them where they were at.
She opened her phone to a text from Kyle. “Checking in - hope you’re having a good day,” it read.
“I’m surviving” Amanda typed back with a smile. “Hope you are too :) “ she added.
“Better than training with Dave!” It read. Amanda couldn’t help but laugh out loud. Dave was one her fathers head trainers. He was ruthless and anyone who ended up sparring him usually ended up with some broken bones that needed to be reset by the pack doctor and a night in the hospital.
“Has anyone ever told you that you have a beautiful laugh?” A voice spoke from before her. She was becoming accustomed to this voice. And she couldn’t contain her smile. “Hey Jake!” She grinned, shoving her phone back in her bag. She lashed and looked at him, c*****g her head to the side. “If I didn’t know better, I would suspect that you were looking for me,” she flirted.
This time it was his turn to blush. “I like talking to you,” he admitted, scratching his hair shyly.
Amanda couldn’t help the smile that broke out on her face. “I’m glad you do,” she smiled at him as he took the chair in front of her.
“So, were you texting your boyfriend?” He asked nonchalantly in a not so nonchalant way.
Amanda giggles again. “Nope,” she shook her head. “No boyfriend,” she smiled at him again. She could feel her heart beat increasing. She wanted to make contact with him again, just to see if it was static electricity or if it was something more, but she held back. She knew that it was just a coincidence.
“No boyfriend you say?” He raised an eyebrow at her and she neatly swooned at the flirty look in his dark blue eyes.
She shook her head again. “Nope,” she responded with a sweet pouty face. She could see the wheels turning in his mind.
“Ohhhh Jaaaake!!” A sweet female voice called out.
“Lucy!” Amanda exclaimed as the stunning woman from her criminology class approached them.
Lucy paused, surprised to see Amanda sitting with Jake. Jake stood up, appearing nervous “Hey new friend,” she smiled at her. “I see you’ve met my old friend Jake,” she linked her arm in his.
Amanda c****d her head to the side, trying to decipher their relationship. Jake looked uncomfortable but not as if he was busted cheating on a girlfriend.
“Lucy f***s my be-best friend Alex sometimes,” Jake answered for them all, easing the tension.
Lucy looked indignant. “Well I haven’t since he found his “other half” she used finger quotes.
Jake smiled. “Yeah he’s pretty into Amber,” he laughed.
“We go way back though,” Lucy gave Jake a wink and flopped down in an empty chair.
Amanda pulled out her phone and glanced at it. “s**t!” She hissed under her breath. “I’ve got to run!” She got to her feet quickly, knowing that she was about to be late for her last class of the day.
“Bye sweetie!” Lucy waved. As Amanda smiled at Jake and started to run down the hall she heard Lucy say “she has the greatest ass!” Causing Amanda to smile as she quickened her pace to her last class of the day.
