Chapter 20: Don't Stand So Close to Me
Environmental Science was intense, with more labs and assigned reading to do. It was good that I'd planned to study at the library after school. Depending on how productive this was, I would like to continue working in the library after school for the rest of the semester and ask my parents if we could have later dinners together. The drama was awkward. I made it a point to avoid looking in River's direction and focused my attention on Emily and Jason when I wasn't listening to the teacher's lecture.
