Mom and Dad asked the twins questions during dinner, so much so that I'm surprised they could eat their food while it was still warm! Raven and River were polite and good-natured, winning over my overprotective parents. Dad was especially impressed when I told him that Jace was giving me a hard time at school and that I was only saying something because the twins had said they would if I hadn't. Dad smiled gratefully at them and thanked them for encouraging me to speak up. My father said that if the harassment continued and the school didn't do anything about it, he would. Let's hope it didn't come to that because Dad was NOT someone you wanted to anger, especially in his role at the sheriff's office!
