69. Sleepover

I land on top of the carriage and change back. "Having fun princess?"

"I wanted to check on Mary. She doesn't even like horses so much."

Dipak climbs out the window and sits on the roof with us. Mary is lying down on it.

"You ok Mary?"

"I think so. I need a minute, princess. You get really high. And then you go really fast. I do like it. I just need a minute."

"It wasn't that fast. I was only keeping up with the carriage. I can go so much faster Mary. I bet I could get to the sea in an hour if I went as fast as I could. I've never tried though."

She crawls back to Dipak and holds onto him. "Why is she such a dare devil? Why can't we like diamonds and tiaras and sparkly things?"

"Stop for a second. Let's get you in the carriage Mary. I think that was enough of a ride for you tonight. Hey Tre, help me get Mary down from here please. She's done with flying for the night."

"Well she didn't make it very far." He gets out and takes Mary from Dipak. "Yea she's kind of shaky."

Mary looks at me from Tre's arms. "Princess, you are right. I should have been slipping this entire time."

I bust out laughing. "I told you so."

Dipak puts his arms around my shoulders after we take off again. "Show me what you got princess."

He's serious. I get a big smile and turn into the dragon. I bend forward so he's more lying on the dragons back and not choking me. Then I take off with my wings so I don't destroy the carriage.

I take off slow and start to fly. I go up high.

"The carriage is going to beat us there at this pace princess."

I take off so fast.

"Faster."

I land by a tree and transition back. "I would go even faster sir. But we are here." I grab his hand and run into the festival with him. Maybe I can get one dance before the rest of them show up. We get to the music and a slow song is on. "Will you dance with me?"

"I think I was supposed to ask you that baby." He kisses me on the cheek. "One dance and then they will be here."

I smile and drag him to the dance floor. I wrap myself around him and hug. I feel him relax.

"I don't think this is dancing sweetheart." He puts my arms around his neck and his hands on my waist. We start to dance.

I get flustered and step into him. I want to be close. He closes his arms around me and closes his eyes. Then he kisses me. A real gentle and soft kiss. I love being all wrapped up in his arms.

"Next time I run. I think I'll be taking you with me. You seem fine with flying."

"Let's see how fast you can get back when we leave."

I get a sad smile. Then he gives me another kiss. "I don't think I can go back."

"Why not?"

"I don't fit there. It's always everyone else and me. Everyone fits together and I don't."

"Princess."

"Yea." He twirls me and pulls me in for another kiss.

"You're a queen. There's only room for 1 queen in a kingdom and until you take your king, there will be tension. But believe me, you fit." I smile at him and he pulls me in tight. "You fit right here." He kisses me like he loves me. I feel his hand run over my cheek and to the back of my neck. He's not going to stop this kiss ever. But that's ok. I don't want it to end.

After a couple minutes of holding each other. "Sir I think.." His eyes are dark. I get as close as I can and kiss him gentle and slow.

"What do you think baby?"

"I think..." I see the carriage stopping. "They are here now."

Mary is holding on to Tre still trying to figure out how legs work. Gunner is laughing and Tre is glaring at Dipak while also laughing and holding onto Mary.

I run over. "Are you ok?"

"Yes little miss, I will be fine. But I'm afraid that was enough flying for me tonight. Maybe I can build up and go a little further next time."

"That's an awesome idea. Someday I will take us back to the sea, Mary." I jump up and down smiling.

"Oh you and that water child. Someone go throw her in some water please."

I bust out laughing and Tre grabs onto me and throws me over his shoulder. "I can do that."

I laugh even harder.

"Don't make her laugh to hard, she will pee on you."

He drops me back to my feet and I laugh so hard. I really could pee. "That only happened once."

The boys start laughing too.

Gunner grabs onto me. "I need a dance princess. I see you dance with everyone else but I never get one."

I look back and forth between Tre and Dipak while Gunner is dragging me to dance. Both of them are trying not to laugh.

Mary grabs on to Dipak to hold herself up from not falling over. "Her face."

I get on the dance floor with Gunner and a fast song is on. Happy about that. We start dancing together and he is so fun. I bet we dance 5 songs together. He is such a good dancer. I motion for Mary to come dance. She stands up and grabs Tre's shoulder. Then Gunner spins me and I lose them. I dance another 15 songs before I see Mary and Tre dancing together.

A slow song comes on and Gunner grabs on to me. He holds me right against him.

"You are muscly and warm too sir."

He smiles and blushes. He really is so cute. I can't help but smile at him. Mary and Tre are still dancing. They are dancing pretty far apart. Lots of space between them. Not sure what that's about.

Gunner spins me and I land in Tre's arms and Gunner takes Mary. I don't know how to dance far apart like that. I step against his body.

He relaxes a little bit and wraps his arms around me for real. "It's been a long time since we've done this."

I lay my head on his chest. "You are still so warm sir."

"I miss this princess. I miss having you in my arms. Someday I will get us all sorted out. I think it's me that needs to grow up first."

I hold him tighter. I can't say anything. There is nothing I could say. I feel myself getting handed off. I'm back with Dipak. He smiles at me. I can't help but smile back. I love this man. I am falling in love with him. I touch his cheek to try and guide his mouth to mine. But I know I can't. I only get to hold him for now. "You ready to go back baby?"

"I'm thirsty."

"Let's go get some water."

"I do believe you owe Mary a dance sir."

He laughs and hands me a cup. "Yes I guess I do."

"Good. She likes muscles too, you know." I can't help but laugh after I say it.

I sit down on the table and he stands in front of me. I drink 3 cups of water. He's laughing the entire time. "Sorry sir I was a bit thirsty."

"I see that." He gets me another cup for me. "I also see why people take other people on tables baby."

I choke on some water. "Your eyes are clear. You are messing with me."

"Yea, but I really could. I mean this is a pretty solid table." He pushes down on it on both sides of me.

I push him back. "Behave yourself sir." I drink the rest of the water. "I'm ready to go somewhere." The thought of going back really sucks.

He gets close and whispers in my ear. "You can stay with me tonight."

"I don't know if I'm ready for that yet."

"Just sleep baby. The guards won't know you're back yet. You can stay with me. No one will know."

"I would like that."

He smiles and gives a hand signal. The other 3 meet us at the carriage.

"Can I drive?"

Tre rubs his eyes. "I guess, but if you wreck again, you are changing the tire."

I start laughing.

Dipak smiles. "Yea I agree. It's important to learn to change a tire anyway. I'll be sleeping in the back. Don't wake me up."

"I will wake you up if I want, sir."

He winks at me and climbs in.

Mary stares at me. "I don't know about this."

Dipak yells, "Come on Mary, I will cuddle you while she drives. We will be ok."

I laugh even harder. "He does have a lot of muscles Mary." I take off after they all get in.

I get us all the way back without issue.

Tre looks at me. "You're not going anywhere else tonight princess? You are staying here?"

"Yes Tre I won't leave."

He nods and goes down the hall with Gunner.

"I'm going to bed to princess. Good night." Mary leaves us.

Dipak grabs my hand and leads me into the first room he see's. "You sure?"

"Yes I am."

He kisses my hand and steps in. When we come out, we are in his place. I grab him by his shirt and kiss him deeper than I have ever kissed anyone.

"I thought you wanted sleep?"

"Maybe a few kisses sir."

He carries me to his bedroom and puts me on the bed. Then he climbs on it with me.

I pull his shirt off as he's crawling towards me. I can't even think. This man is everything.

He lays between my legs again and I can feel him against me. I love this. He kisses me hard. "Please."
