70. Two Queens

I wake up in the morning and he's still asleep. I go to my room and Mary is there.

"I love him Mary."

"I know princess. Let's get you dressed for the day."

I'm quite shocked. "How did you know?"

"I can see it in your eyes." She helps me into my outfit. "Don't worry, I don't think many others can see it."

"Can he?"

"No. But he loves you too."

"I'm going to work."

"Of course little miss."

Dorseti is sitting at the desk. "Do we know who the better kisser is yet?"

I smile. "Definitely Dipak."

"Yay. Finally."

"I'll be in my office."

She gives me a thumbs up. Why does it make me so sad that I love him? I do miss Tre. I look up and Dipak is coming in.

"Hello sir."

"Where were you? You weren't there when I woke up."

"I didn't know how long you would sleep. I didn't want to wake you up. You seemed so happy."

I can't help but smile as he takes his shirt off. "I do like you without a shirt on sir." I rub the cream on his back.

"You ok? Is this going to fast for you? Am I pushing you? Maybe I did some stuff I shouldn't have last night. I can slow down or even back up if you need. I can be possessive. I shouldn't have done that. I should have been easier with you."

I finish his back. Then I flip him around to face me. I don't say anything, I shove him back so he's sitting on my desk. I climb on top of him. One leg on each side and kiss him. I wrap my arms around him and pull him into my chest. I rub myself on him a couple times then lean into his ear. I whisper "I liked it all and I wanted more sir." I climb down. "Yea I really don't know what that means. But I did want more. And you really were sleeping this morning. I didn't want to wake you up."

He kisses me so sweetly. "I love you sweetheart."

"I love you too."

"DIPAK"

I laugh. "I would use the bookshelf sir." I open it for him.

He kisses me on the cheek and runs out.

I sit down at my desk and daddy breaks down my door. "Where is Dipak?"

"Haven't seen him this morning daddy. Are you ok? Why did you break my door?"

"Sorry my princess. More rumors."

"Didn't you learn last time, daddy? People like to talk. You have to seek to find the truth."

"Do you love him?"

I smile. "I think I'm in love with him. But I'm still young. Give me some time please. I'll wait for my bond... You're not getting any grandbabies before then. No matter how dark your eyes get."

He laughs as I file some paperwork. "Love makes us do stupid things, princess."

"I could see that daddy. But he is a good guy. He won't push me that far. And if he does. I remember what you taught me about chopping things off."

He smiles at me and goes through the hole in the wall.

"Get my door fixed daddy."

"I'll send someone down my princess and you and your mother are going to have to talk."

"Daddy come back."

"What is it princess?"

"Dipak said something to me at the festival last night and I want to know your thoughts on it."

"Ok."

"I was telling him how I didn't feel like I fit here and I didn't know if I should come back at all." Daddy's so hurt when I say that. "He said I'm a queen and there is only room for one queen in the kingdom. That is why there is so much tension between me and momma. He said I do fit here though."

"You do fit my princess. He was right about that. And I guess I never thought about the two queens. You are getting older and it would make sense. I'm going to have a meeting about this. We can all talk about it."

"Daddy."

"Princess."

"I'm not ready to see her."

He nods for a few seconds. "Ok I won't invite her but you will have to talk to her eventually."

"I know that. I just need more time."

"Ok princess, I love you and I will see you soon."

"I love you too daddy."

I get to Thora's room and Frode is there. "Hello advisor. I'm sorry I didn't get more evidence before I thought..."

"It's ok princess. I know you love Thora. You were protecting her."

I give him a big smile "She is doing really well advisor. She could actually wake up now but she is still dosed for another day. So, she will not wake up at all today. Maybe tomorrow morning we will start seeing some movements." I look at him. "She is really lucky to be alive and does need help advisor."

"I know princess." I can see tears in his eyes.

"You need to come to me with this stuff Frode. About anyone. If someone is spiraling we need to all work together to get them well again."

"It's my fault." He starts to cry.

"No, it's not. Remember when I was falling apart?" He nods. "Everyone seen different parts of that but no one talked to Dr. Cruor. He could have helped me and everyone else too."

"He did yell at all of us right before you left princess. I wish we would have talked to him sooner."

The Kings Guard walks in. "Advisor Frode you are being summoned to the emergency advisor meeting."

"That is ridiculous. His mate is laying unconscious in the medical area. You cancel that order right now. Or I will command it."

"It's ok princess. Your dad told me he would summon me when they get to the part of talking about Thora."

"Why?"

"They are checking different options of getting her help."

"Princess Nadine you are being summoned to the emergency advisor meeting."

"Oh of course I am." I roll my eyes and throw some papers down on Thora's table.

Frode holds out his arm for me and I take it.
