It's Tre that comes in while I'm hiding in the kitchen, so I ease drop. "Hello ma'am, mom. Is she here?" "Sit down son." "Well, where to start?" "There is no easy place to start Asa." "We could start with wine." "That is an excellent idea." "Son, Nadine is your mate." "She will be mom." "No, you need to treat her like she is. Aurelia please help me out here." "She told us about you getting mad at her every time you get dark eyes." "I'm not mad at her." "You tell her she's a child and push her away." "Well what am I supposed to do? She's a child. I can't touch her. I can't love on her. I can't f**k her up against a wall somewhere. I have to back off." "You 2 are so close in age. Calling her a child is like calling yourself a child Tre." "Aurelia's right son. And you 2 have always been close. Do you think your the only one having these feelings? Do you really think she never feels that way about you? Does she push you away and say 'eww gross adult?' or 'eww boy'. Those are the things a child thinks. She may not be of age to take a mate yet, but she is not a child. She is so close to an adult and you are going to push her away from you before she gets there. She is really upset son. And she is a little scared of you." "What am I supposed to do?" "Next time you start getting turned on, talk to her like she is your mate and not a random child." "Yes, tell her you would love nothing more than to f**k her up against a wall all night but you can't." Asa chokes on her wine but my mom keeps going. "Ask her to help you calm down. Then it becomes a problem for both of you and not you pushing a child away." "Well, that was rather straight forward, but it is true, Aurelia. And stop listening to everyone telling you she is a child. Now she is your mate first son. You have 15 years still, so you had better learn how to communicate everything with her." "Do you know where she is?" "No son. She's probably off asking your father to take her to Galhurst instead of Clay though." "WHAT?" "We told you Tre. You are pushing her away. Mate, not child now. Learn to talk to her or I will insist she go. I will not have her here with a mate who treats her badly or scares her." Damn mom. I hear the door shut and they both laugh. "Well, that scared him straight Asa." "Yes it did. When you said that about f*****g on a wall, I thought he was taking the wine away from us though." "That boy had better be to scared to reach for my wine." They both start laughing and I join them again. "Did he leave?" "Yes, and you shouldn't have the dark eyes problem anymore princess." They both start laughing again. "Now she's going to be coming to us asking what certain words mean, Asa or how things work. I did not think that through." Asa smiles at me. "You can always come to us with any questions. You can always ask us anything if you're not comfortable asking Tre ok? We're both girls and we will help you." "Thank you Asa." "You're welcome and I'm sure his communication is about to get a lot more colorful with you." My mom spits out wine. "Colorful! That's one way to put it." The both bust out laughing. "Can I try that?" "Sure 1 glass. It's not bad." My mom stands up to get me a glass and falls out of her shoe. "Oh Asa, can you get it. This shoe doesn't fit right." "Of course." I go with Asa to the wine and she gives me a cup. I taste it and it is so good. I drink the whole thing. She looks at the cup funny. "I swore I poured that already." She pours me another one. This one is a little fuller. I down it again as soon as she turns around. It's really good. My mom comes over, "Oh I'll get it sweetie." She pours me another cup and I down it. Then she pours herself one and me another one too because my cup is empty. I drink that one too. When mom goes back to Asa, I pour another one all the way full. Then I sit down on the couch cause I'm a little dizzy. Then the door flies in. Glad I got the veil on. Dad, Dracul, Tre, Dipak, and Gunner all run in. My dad is red. So glad for the veil. He can't see me laughing. I'll hold the cup under the veil too. I can drink it there. No one will notice. My dad yells so loudly. "WHAT DID YOU TELL HIM TO TELL MY DAUGHTER?" "Oh relax, big man. We taught him how to communicate with a mate." My mom starts rubbing my dad's chest. Asa points her finger at dad. "There was something about a roof." Dad looks at Tre. "A roof?" Tre shakes his head. "Oh the theatre stage." My mom says and points at Asa. "I CALL THE ROOF." Asa grabs Dracul and drags him out. He looks back at my dad. "I'll be on the roof for an hour." Asa makes a noise in the hallway. "3 hours." Mom grabs dad and drags him out. She yells down the hallway. "We'll be in the theater for 4 hours." Gunner, Dipak and Tre all turn and stare at me. I bust out laughing. "SHE SAID BIG MAN!" I finish my cup and go refill it. The second I do, Gunner smells the bottle and tries to take my cup. I start chugging and running from him. "It's strong. Get it." I run all over dodging them and finally get it drank. Then I trip over nothing and fall on my face. Tre helps me sit on the couch. "How much of that did you drink?" "Can you fill this please?" They all laugh. "Just this one cup." Dipak smiles at me. "Yes but how many times was it filled?" "6. I think maybe." Tre sits down. "What did you 3 talk about?" "THE BIG MAN!" I bust out laughing again. Gunner and Dipak sit down laughing. One of them says "Well we all got promoted to babysitting duty." "HEY!" "What princess?" "I like those 2. They are nice." "Your mom and Asa?" Gunner asks. "Yes. They talk about colors or colorfulls." "Colors?" Dipak's confused. I know what I'm trying to say though. "COLORFUL LANGUAGE... there I got it. They said you will have a more colorgul language now Tre." He smiles. "Colorful language? Well, I guess that's one way to put it." "Yes, they said I can ask them questions cause you're going to say words I don't know. What words are you going to say that I don't know?" He laughs and shakes his head. I go to sit on his lap. Dipak stops me right before I get there. "Your seat is over here princess." I throw my veil at him. He picks it up and puts it back on my head. Gunner starts laughing and I throw it at him. So I go back to the wine. "NO." Gunner jumps up this time. "Oh fine but I'm hot." I try to untie things on the dress. All 3 of them jump up then. "NO!" I put my hands down. "You're all boring." I take off the gloves and grab Tre. "Let's go." "Where we going?" "The theater. Mom said there's a show for 4 hours." Dipak busts out laughing. "That's not a show you want to see princess." Gunner is laughing so hard he's about to cry. Tre shakes his head. "Yea, the roofs off limits too." I jump and throw my arms around his neck. "My dad's office." All 3 of them bust out laughing this time. Mary comes in and sees me with the 3 of them with no veil or gloves and my arms around Tre. She shakes her head. "Nope. I seen nothing." She turns around and walks right back out. "I need a drink." I go to the kitchen this time. I know where mom's wine is in this room too. I have another cup and get caught by Dipak half way through it. "NO! Why is there wine everywhere here?" I hear Gunner and Tre laughing in the sitting room. I sit back down with them. "Can we go somewhere now?" "You want to go to my office princess? I have some papers to fill out," Dipak asks. "Yes." I stumble towards the new hole in the wall but miss it and hit the wall instead. "Here you have to wear the gloves and veil until we get there." Gunner hands me the gloves and throws the veil over my head. I put them on and Tre guides me to Dipaks' office. It's a long walk. I'm tired by the time I get there. I lay down on one of the couches using the veil as a blanket. A very tiny blanket. This is fine.
