AFTER A WEEK
AT ATLANTHEA'S POW:
I was swimming around and thinking about something. It's a weird feeling, but I wish to see that shore prince again. He seems like a handsome guy, and I would like more information about him. I was spending more time in my room and that became like a more everyday thing for me. It felt nice to have time for myself.
-Your father wishes to see you. - Alya said.
-Alright. - I said and swam to his place.
It took me some time to reach the office and I felt happy that he wanted to talk to me about something. I hope that is something interesting.
-You wished to see me, father? - I asked.
-I wanted to talk to you about something important. - He said.
-What is it, father? - I asked.
-I am going to hire a tuttor for you. - He said, and I looked at him confused.
-Why would I need a tutor? - I asked.
-It's time for you to learn more about rules. I want to make sure that when you take the throne with your husband you will know all the stuff that you need to be a good ruler. - He said.
I nodded and smiled. It seems that he finally wants me to take his place one day. I know that I have to get married, but maybe the mermaid queen is as much as important as the mermaid king.
-I understand dad and that does sound like a good idea. - I said and smiled.
-I heard that you could be a bit lazy, but I am happy that you like learning something. - He said.
I nodded and went back to my room.

The next day, I was dressed up and ready to meet my mentor. I was hoping that it was a person with good experience and it was not going to figure out that I am not really Atlanthea.
-My name is Alice and I am your mentor, princess.-A woman with dark hair said to me. After that she bowed a bit.
-I am Atlanthea. Pleasure to meet you. - I said and smiled.
-It's nice meeting you in person, princess.-Alice said.
I nodded and sat down on the chair.
-Let's begin our first lesson. - Alice and smiled.
I smiled, but soon my smile faded when I saw how she took out about one hundred page book. She should be kidding if she thinks that I am going to learn that much.
-What is that even a book? - I asked.
-It's a queen book. It was made for a queen to know what she can and can not do.-Alice said.
I got confused. I had no idea that books like that existed in the first place.
-So there are a lot of things that I can not do. - I said with disappointment.
-It is how it is.-Alice said. - We have a lot of things to learn.
I nodded and sighed. It seems that I have to learn this in some way.

It was late evening when I swam back to my room. I had no idea that Alice's lectures were going to take such a long time. It's a bit complicated for me.
-How was your first lesson? - I heard dad's voice.
-It was hard but interesting. - I said.
-I am happy to hear that.-He said and smiled. I was happy to see that my father likes me attending these lectures.
-Why can't queen to do many things? That is unfair. -I asked and sighed.
I saw how he looked at me and chuckled a bit. It seems that he is happy hearing this type of conversation.
-I think that you understand that a king is a more important figure than a queen, right? - Dad asked.
-I do understand that, but I also wish to be useful to my people. - I said.
-I understand that swwetie. If your king will be a smart person, he will make choices for you. - Dad said.
-So what am I going to do if he is not going to listen to me? - I asked.
I saw how he looked at me for a moment and sighed.
-You can advise him with something and that could be pretty useful sometimes. - He said.
-How you were doing with my mom? - I asked.
-She was smart woman since a moment we met, so I used it for my help. - Dad said.
-I understand. - I said and smiled.
I sighed a bit and left to my room. I really needed some rest after a first lecture. It was pretty hard, but I managed to understand most of the things. I feel petty happy for it.
AFTER A WEEK
AT ATLANTHEA'S POW:
It was one week since I started having a tuttor. It seems that she is trying to make each new lesson way harder than a previous one. It was hard to catch all needed information in time. When I would get free time I would see my dad wishing to spend some time with me. It was pretty hard to have some time for myself and I did not minded that. It was part of my life and I got used to it.
It was pretty weird when my tuttor got sick. I knew that she was nice person. I hope she soon gets well. It would be hard to get closer with another tuttor.
-Your father is giving you a free day today. - Alya said.
-It sounds nice. I am going to eat something first. - I said.
I saw how she nodded and left. I got ready and left to the main room for breakfast. After eating my meal I was spending rest of my time with others and when I saw a guard doing stuff alone I swam closer to him.
-Do you need something princess? - He asked.
-I need you to take me closer to the shore. - I said.
-It can be done. - He said.
I nodded and smiled. It sounds like a pretty good idea to see shore once more.
