Raelynn Alison yanked me back sharply as the slimy creature leapt out at me. I have never seen anything this hideous before. It was a pulsating 3-foot-long worm-like creature in a sickly pink color that faded to an even more revolting translucent gray at the edges.Its bulbous body was segmented not with neat rings, but with uneven, lumpy folds that writhed and rippled as it slithered with unsettling, boneless grace.
