The sound of frantic knocking on my door woke me up.
I groaned as I tripped out of bed, falling to the ground and landing in a ball under my blanket because my body was not coordinated enough.
“Rae, are you okay?” Came from the other side of the door as I scrambled to my feet. In a fluid motion, I opened the door revealing a very chirpy Alison with lots of boxes at her feet.
I groaned, half-wishing I had fainted when I fell out of bed.
"Good morning, sunshine," she exclaimed as she stormed into my room carrying a ton of boxes.
She swiveled, her gaze boring holes in mine, "Why are you not dressed? Didn’t you get my text?”
“As you can see, I just woke up,” I replied sarcastically.
