I could probably say I was half-awake and half-dead at the same time. I couldn’t correct my vision properly, because everything around me felt blurry and when I looked above me, all these plastic tubes were running all the way from the long pole to my arm, which I couldn’t move all the way up to get a better view because I was handcuffed to the bed.
I tried to lift myself up but I could not because my body felt numb, my lips were dry and my thoughts were all over the place and not really minding where I was.

I thought to myself whilst still in fear. This time without knowing where I got the energy from I tried forcing myself up repeatedly I even tried getting the handcuff of from my wrist, but yet to no avail.
The nurse came in, trying to calm me down but I would not list
