I woke up besides Max’s bed, because the machines started to beep uncontrollably and in no time the nurses came in along with the doctors and they began to treat Max, who seemed to be having trouble breathing. I watched as the doctors fix up a few things and just like that, the beeping sounds went back to normal.
"Doctor is he going to be okay?"
"I would like to speak to you Mrs Richfield"
I nodded in agreement and followed the doctor to his office and when the doors were shut my true colors came out.
"How long does he have to live, because I’m not going to wait any longer for the bastard to die"
The doctor placed his stethoscope down and rubbed his hand across his temple ad looked at me.
