Dylan’s POV
After meeting Will, I got caught up with work. It was difficult for me to concentrate while working because my wolf was giving me a hard time. He kept on nagging at me to go to our mate, but I couldn’t just leave and forget about my responsibilities as an Alpha. The work was too much in a way that I couldn’t even get time to eat my lunch, so Martha, the pack’s chef, just sent me food in my office. I asked her if Cailean was able to eat well during lunch, but she said that she didn’t show up at lunch.
I wrapped up my work as soon as possible and went to the kitchen. I asked Martha to prepare a special meal for Cai so I can take it to her room.
